If you invested 1/4th of that money on a Giratina or Umbreon and got it graded you would have made more profit most likely off 1 card dude. $245 estimated profit off those slabs is RISKY. Not every card is worth more because of a slab

Your absolutely right man, I wanted to do an experiment on if buying bulk Japanese ARs and having them graded was worth it or not. As you stated and already know, it does not pay off at all. After all the fees and shipping supplies there wont be any meat left on the bone for profits.
I did this as a way to test the waters, I only wish I had bought the Giratina and Moonbreons. But it is what it is. A majority of these slabs have sold off our eBay store but we still have a few low value slabs we’ll be auctioning off our whatnot account.
I appreciate your comment and feedback and I wish for others to do the same.

Why’d you spend all that money getting low end cards graded? That’s the same amount you would have nearly made selling them off raw dude.

why not just sell this raw, buy a or several high end card and grade it for 300% markup or something

This was mainly an experiment on bringing in Japanese ARs and SIRs for the cheap of things and then to grade them and sell them.
Fortunately we discovered that it would’ve been more cost effective to sell a majority of the cards raw instead of selling the final graded versions.

What tier of grading did you use? I just sent off my first PSA submission using their 13.99 August bulk special. I’m a little concerned they might ding me because of the lower pricing tier, even though they claim not to factor that into grading decisions.

you be fine i use the cheapest all the time and most of my slabs came back as 10s, its more about did you check the card's condition before sending

At the time PSA didn’t have any specials for when I submitted. It cost $14.99 per card for the bulk discount for 20 card minimum submission. You’ll be okay on choosing the lower pricing tier. To my knowledge PSA doesn’t give 10’s out if you paid for the higher cost grading service.
The main thing in regards to the Regular or Express service, is the value of the graded card plus the turn around time.
If you can wait for your cards I would recommend the bulk submission, but if you have a $1k plus card then I would do the regular service. I recall if you choose the cheaper service and the cards estimated value is higher, then PSA would up charge you to the next service.
Good luck to your grading :) it is a fun thing to do and once you get 10’s it gets a whole lot better.

@is4c_ edge wears and white dots are easy to find, I’ll say put the card under a strong light and check for any dents, they hate dents so much

@is4c_ I found so many times that dents on the cards that we don’t see them under no lights

With these profits we’ll be able to get one step closer from getting a graded base set charizard card 😁
