Rumors were leaked about how he wasn't physically up to the "This Is It" concert series in the first place, and some of you may have seen the clip shot by Hollywood 411 where he's in the limo and they ask him flat out if he can still moonwalk. He responded by saying "why wouldn't I be able to?" His feet were in bad shape, he supposedly had holes in his shoes, and arthritis. Think about it, if there was footage of him successfully moonwalking at rehearsal, it DEFINITELY would've been on in the movie. Think of how poignant it would've been... Michael Jackson's last recorded moonwalk... He was the biggest celebrity in history, and they way he fell from grace is ineffably tragic.
1987, 1988 and 1989 was when Micheal was refining and perfecting the Moonwalk. But it was the 1992 bucharest concert when he mastered it. It was he best one in public he ever did. I believe.
