UK Drill and NY drill sound similar. Pop smoke worked with a British producer called 808 Melo. He produced Welcome to the party, Dior, the Woo and some other big songs, which blew the ‘sound’ up. If Pop Smoke was alive, he would have bridged the gap even more than he did. It sucks we lost him so early. I really think he was special.

Also, I noticed a lot of Americans hear a reference to someone else in a song and are immediately thinking it's a diss even if the reference wasn't disrespectful. Trust me you will know diss when you hear one in UK drill. Most references are just references and usually are out of respect. LD has a song with Dizzee
