Ma'am, The teacher in our school told that rule of thumb means the "traditional and hit&trial methods". But I got confused after I heard your explanation. I'm not comparing your knowledge with the school teachers' rather I'm just seeking to get a better hold on the concept. Kindly clarify this concept. Regards
Ma'am you told that ki managers ne apne work experience se sikha that agar unhe workers ko khush rakhna hai aur unse ache se kaam karvana hai toh unhe workers ko bonus dena chahiye. Now, I think that it's a Science bcz unhone proper experiment & observation ki and then they reached on this conclusion. How can it be called Rule of Thumb? Ma'am please explain this thing. Dats correct ise Hit and trial hi bolte… as I explained manager ne jo exp se seekha wo apply krke dekhenge…agar work kiya toh ok…nhi to kuch or try krnege…so baar baar try kro agar work kiya toh great nhi kiya toh aage or kuch try kro….but widout any scientific calculations
