You should try renting a Model Y next time. Chargers as fast as 250KW, you pull up and plug in. No hassling with screens/payments, and average cost is ~0.34cents/KwH. Within 20-25 minutes you’ll have added about 65-75% battery.
You also have a variety of charging locations to choose from, with most around restaurants/shopping. Your Kingman stop has the Tesla chargers too.

Yeah before we chose the Mach E we debated on a Tesla because of the fast chargers that are pretty much everywhere. Choosing the Mach E came down to it being one of the newer cars out and the cool design. Maybe next time we will take a Tesla for a spin.

Never had an issue with my Tesla. Car tells you where you need to stop, just enter your destination and hit the road.

Yeah there was no issues. It’s just a different challenge with charging stations. Not all charge fast and if you’re driving through the desert you might not have a good one. We even had to wait to charge at some stations. Different than gas for sure, but still fun.

Also we trusted the navigation and we almost ran out. I guess it didn’t account for the hills we climbed.
