Have missed your video’s Terry, you can’t do anymore mate but it looks like you have turned a corner 🤞🙏, keep well Terry, looking forward to more of your precious videos, me being a newbie in this hobby they are priceless, very best wishes to you and the wife.
Hi Anthony, and thank you mate, its very much appreciated. Good to hear you enjoy the videos. To be honest mate, this season has been a bit of a nightmare, and I don't think its over yet. Came down yesterday and Chunky was swimming around in circles, and it lasted for about 2 hours. This is usually a sign of stress, but I'm not sure just whats stressing him. Its a wonder I'm not going around in circles 🤣🤣thanks again mate and take care, Terry
I've stumbled upon your channel this evening watching your drum filters from a while ago. Its amazing how much things have changed for you and your pond! I'm already on my 3rd video! You have yourself a new subscriber! I could sit and watch /listen to you all day. An absolute breath of fresh air to koi keeping! Especially hearing how things used to be done years ago. Thanks for all your contributions & i must say, beautiful pond, fish & garden sir.. very jealous
Hi Alex, welcome to my channel, and thank you for your very kind comments, it's really appreciated. I do have a lot of videos in my collection for you to have a look at. Everything in my filter house is DIY, I built my own RDF filter, Bakki Shower and the Up-Flow Filter plus my Moving Bed, all in past videos. Thanks once again, and it's good to have you with us, Take care, Terry.
Hi Terry I'm glad chunky, and the rest are perking up now. And you're right it's been a terrible season my water parameters are all good but I'm struggling with thr fines and it just starts to improve and it pours down with rain and it looks awful again but enough of me moaning. I hope you're doing okay. Stay safe, Andy 👍
Hi Andy, and thanks mate. Chunky is a lot better thanks. I can't believe just what it's cost me in treatments this season. I have to say, it's stressed me out big time, and they're still flicking🤨🤔🤔🤪and I've used a full Columbo water test kit. I was so looking forward to this season and all I want to do now if forget it 🤕😅thanks mate and take care, Terry.
@Wrighty Hi mate, have you considered metals in the water which most test kits won't detect? Maybe Lau can help with that as i know she had issues with metals in the water supply. Also, are there any new trees or plants nearby that could deposit poisonous pollen in the pond? I hope you get it sorted soon mate. Andy 🤞
Hi mate, yes, I've been chatting with Lau and Paula from South Lincs Fish Health. I am now using their Pond Detox Formula which seems to be going very well up to now 👍🤞🤞I don't want to speak too soon😂😂We have planted a few new plants, but they weren't there when it all started, so I don't think it's them. I'm going to give the Detox a go and see how we get on. Thanks for the thought though mate, it's really appreciated. Take care, Terry.
Sorry to hear about your problems , Terry . I think I commented on one of your previous video`s , I`ve been having similar issues for 3 years . Just cant figure it out . Lost 3 fish this year . previous to that I hadnt lost a fish for 5 years . I spoke to Paula Reynolds about it . She suggested that because my losses were spread over 6 months , they were more likely to be seperate issues rather than a major bacterial problem . Rest of the fish look fine , physically . Just dont look happy ! I havent done any major water changes , so might try it . Hopefully somone will find a "Silver Bullet` for us and solve the problem . Hope things improve for you soon . Take care , and keep us all updated !
It is a nightmare mate. I can't seem to find the problem, and my koi are like yours, they just don't seem to be as lively as they should be. Something is definitely bothering them, trouble is when I go to sit and watch them to relax like I use to, they start flicking and it drives me crazy. In all my years of keeping koi, I've never had anything like this. If I find the magic cure I'll let you know mate. Take care, Terry.
Hi Terry, great to see an update video from you. Your garden and pond look super as always (like the grey fences). Funny season with the weather, temps, bacterial infections and flukes so hoping we have a quiet close to the year and a better season next year.
Hi Phil, and thanks mate. I have to be honest, the wife did a lot of the painting while I was mending the broken fence posts. It has been a bit of a nightmare season for me, and I can't remember a season quite like it. Your holiday looked like the holiday of a lifetime 👍👌👌nice one mate. Thanks again and take care, Terry
The issue I had with both fresh and marine fish keeping was the difficulty I had judging clean and “too clean”. I discovered that my fish would live but not thrive if I kept the water too clean. It made no sense to me but after learning to loosen up my tolerance a bit the fish seemed happier. For a fact, they began spawning again and I lost all control of things for a bit lol!
That's right mate, I do think we can be a bit too clean these days, our fish do seem to catch things a lot easier than in past years. Take care mate, Terry.
My pond went from 27c may/June to 17c july/ August, now this last week 23c ,funny old year ,but have used virkon the last few months, all the best Terry 😊
Hi Lawrence, that's right mate. My pond has been all over the place this summer, and I don't think its finished yet. I was using the Virkon, but I'm trying a Pond Detox treatment at the minute from Lincs Fish Health to see if that makes any difference. Take care mate, Terry.
Pond and garden looking stunning as always 👍🏼 What a season it’s been. In my relatively short number of years - this has been the worst! Glad yours seems to be sorted and 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 it stays that way. Best wishes buddy 👍🏼😊
Thanks mate, hope you're getting your filter house sorted👍👍👍it has been a bad year for a lot of people this year, but I've no idea why, you take care mate, Terry.
Feeling the pain I too am having my worst season. That shower looked great was not expecting that... this has been a strange year for everyone. I thought I was the only one having a bad year. Lost my first koi that I couldn't nurse back to health. I have lost 2 in the past but they jumped. Sorry you have had a rough time fella. I have sakura media in my shower and it is also very bitty. Take Care Wrighty and keep sharing been watching you for years. I even purchased tour RDF plans but never finished my build 😢 ...
Hi Dave, sorry to hear your going through the same mate, it's a nightmare. All the years I've had koi, I've never had anything like this before. I don't mind problems with the koi, as I've always been able to sort them out, but when you keep finding nothing, its mind-blowing. I came out yesterday and Chunky (my kahaku) was swimming around in circles, and did this for 2 hours. I've not seen anything like it before, and I can only put it down to stress. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what's stressing him. If in my next video I'm just going around in circles, it'll be stress 🤣🤣🤣Thenks mate, Terry.
Wow i was amazed at wow clean your bakki was aswell and i think its just one of them seasons but that koi you won in the auction has put some right growth on
Hi mate, I hope all's well with you and your family. Yes that's right mate, the little Asagi isn't that little anymore 👍👍it's coming on nicely. There's a lot of people had problems this year for some reason. Take care, Terry.
Hey Terry great to see ya back its certainly a weird one with the issues youve had, have you checked the poisonous flower/plant list to koi to check you haven't added anything to the garden that might be upsetting them?
Hi mate, and thank you. I hope all's well with you. I've not really put anything plant-wise extra around the pond. I've been having a word with Paula from Lincs Fish Health and Lau and we tend to think is something coming in that the water board are putting in the water, even though they say they're not adding anything. We've had around 150 new houses built around us, and I think it's something to do with that mate. I've been hitting the pond quite hard with Virkon and things seem a lot better at the moment. I going to give the Lincs Fish Health Pond Detox Formula a go and see how that goes. I've heard some really good reports about it. I'll give it a try and see how things go mate. I will let you know. Thanks again Jamie and take care, Terry.
Awesome video again Terry, spoke to you on your last video and you mentioned how it was easier back in the day. Interesting to hear how things used to be done. Wish we could still do that today 😆 Keep up the great content though, really enjoying the videos 👍 Oh and regarding the little bit of flashing every now and again i know Lau had a similar issue and it was something in the water, im pretty certain Pond Detox cured it for her. Hopefully they keep improving though and it isnt needed 👍
Hi Adam, and thank you, good to hear you enjoy the videos. To be honest, it was a lot easier back then. I can't believe in a country like the UK that has so many ponds, we have no fish vets. I got my local vet to come and have a look, as she was the one that dealt with that side of things, and to be honest, I knew more than she did, and it cost me £40.00 I have been in contact with the water board, and they're saying there's nothing extra going in the water, but can you believe them? I did have a chat with Lau a while back. Thanks for the thoughts though mate, much appreciated, 👍👍Terry.
Hi Terry nice video sorry you've been having trouble , I've been scratching my head all summer as mine has lost it's clarity. I'm running on a nexus 220 a 4 foot square bio chamber and an evolution aqua tempest and a skimmer to a bakki shower. My fish were flicking but could not find any parasites. I treated with pp which I have done many times at the same dose I always use and lost a 24 inch Hariwaki so a little bit miffed. On the bright side I've had no further problems. I must say that Shusui of your has grown superb, hope you've solved all your problems and will look forward to your next video.
Hi David, and thank you. Sorry to hear you lost a koi mate, but I think most people have had problems of some sort this year. It's good to hear you've got yours sorted. I would think you have, but if it were me with the pond clarity problem, I'd double-check the UV mate, just a thought mate. Sid the Shusui has grown well, I'm really pleased with how he's come on. It would be nice to see some sun at some point this summer, but it's not looking good😂😂take care mate, Terry
Glad to see your Koi seem to be looking better Terry, it has been a funny season, I have not had so many parasites as I have had this year, glad Chunky is good, very best wishes, Tony😀
Hi Tony, and thanks mate, really appreciated. It wouldn't be quite so bad if I did a scrape and found the problem. In all the scrapes I've done I've found one fluke, and it was dead. Any way mate, things are looking better at the moment 🤞🤞🤞take care, Terry.
Great to see you back on Terry Mate, you are not alone, we have been robbed of a good summer it feels like. And the koi just seem unsettled i think. I had a small issue with a new fish this year that just knocked the fun out of the hobby abit for me, that & the never ending rain up North. Trying to bounce back now tho and hoping for a nice Indian summer taking us right through to next June 🙏 😂
Hi Mark, and thanks mate. I hope all's well with you and your family. I think we were all expecting a good summer, but it ended in disappointment for everybody. I have had a really shitty season up to now, as you may know, but we have to bounce back, as always. I thought Chunky was getting over his problems, but this morning he spent 2 hours just swimming around in circles. Just what I needed. This is usually a sign of stress, but what's stressing him, I have no idea. An Indian summer through to June would just suit me down to the ground 🤣😂🤣at least I could get a tan for my trouble🤣🤣you take care mate and I hope you've got your problem sorted. Terry.
Gosh, absolutely crazy Terry. So many people are habing problems. I have been lucky this summer but did lose my big kujaku end of winter. Glad Chunky is back on top form. I know how much you love that fish. The asagi has grown! Wow. Garden looking immaculate as always. Keep well Terry... Autumn soon 🙄 not that any of us jave had a summer this year. We ve onky had an amazing june down the south. Madness... Speak soon. Take care
Hello Lau, hope all's well with you and your pond. If I'm honest, I can't remember ever having a summer this bad as far as the koi go, and the weather's rubbish as well. I'm still having problems with Chunky, He started swimming around in circles, and it lasted for 2 hours. Just swimming slowly round and round, in half of the pond, I've never seen that before. I can only put it down to, he's stressed, but what he's stressed about, I have no idea. If I have no hair in my next video, you'll know why 😂😂😂. All the other koi seem fine, apart from a bit of flicking, still😏😏🤥Maggie the asagi is coming along really well. She'll make a great little koi. Thanks Lau, always appreciated, Terry.
@@Wrighty do you remember when we spoke over the phone, with all the houses that they have built next to your house, they must have disrupted some water course/pipes and may be with new pipes or more chlorine etc... May be it is affecting your water supply. Have you considered using every week Paula's Pond Detox Formula? I still use it and not problems with the pond this year, considering what I have been through last year... I know a lot of guys who show use it with great success. Takes a few weeks to work, especially on large ponds, but it's really brilliant stuff. Naturalises all metals and impurities etc..
Hello Lau, yes I do remember talking about it and I have had a look at it. I must say it does sound good. Did you get yours direct from Links Fish Health? I see for 2kg its £65.00. well worth it if it works, and by the sound of it, it does. We've still got another 100 houses to go up here, it's crazy. I saw Chunky flick yesterday and noticed he's got a bad patch on his underside. So I've got to get him out and have a look, I don't think I've got a net big enough 😆😆now, he's a big old boy. Can you just have a look for me to make sure I'm ordering the right one. This is what I'm looking at: dockkoi.co.uk/pdfpond-detox-formula-p-749.html I do have Virkon in the pond at the munite. Thanks for your help Lau, it's really appreciated, Terry.
@@Wrighty hi Terry, yes that's the one. 2 tablespoon per 1000 gallon. But it's all explained on the tub. There is a bit more info on Linc's website. I really rate it. Honestly, it's the only thing that has stopped the flicking last year.
Sorry to hear it’s been a rough season for you Terry! Hopefully you can figure out what’s going on and things get better soon. I’ve also had a rough season because my RDF motor gave out and I was without filtration while I was waiting for parts so I basically had to get my bio filter up and going again slowly. I’m unheated so I lost a lot of precious growth periods. I finally got around to finish the moving bed filter from the plan you sent me and it’s been working smoothly so far 🤞🏽 so thank you so much. I hope you’ve been well!
Hi Asep, and thank you. I'm very well mate thanks. I hope all's well with you and your family. I must admit, I've not had anything like this before, it's got me scratching my head. Good to hear the moving beds working mate, it will take 2 to 3 months to start working fully. Thanks again mate and take care, Terry.
What a beautifull garden and pond mate. Its been my first koi season and I've been lucky with no issues but I just wish I could sit in the garden and enjoy my pond alot more.
Thanks Daniel, welcome to the koi keeping hobby mate. It's good to hear you've not had problems. I think that the weather is a lot of our problems this season. We've all been looking forward to a good summer and it never came. I love sitting out by my pond in the evening with a glass of wine and just watching the koi. Thank you for your kind comments, it's very much appreciated. Take care, Terry.
You are so right I know lots of pond keepers going through unexplained issues leading to losses; no-one seems to have the solution despite people reporting, like you, water parameters are prefect, all filters seem to clean and effective yet problems persist. The weather has been all over the place, particularly here in Yorkshire, and I suspect this does not help. I am relieved to see you seem now to be on top of things and the situation is under control, as I suspected, if anyone can sort it it is you. All the best for what remains of the season David (in Leeds)
Hi Dave, and thank you mate. It has been a nightmare I must admit. But I came down this morning, and at first glance, all the koi were swimming around nicely. But then I noticed Chunky was swimming around in circles. He kept it up for nearly 2 hours and has now gone back to sitting on the bottom. I've really no idea what's going on mate, I thought I had it sorted. I could be bald in my next video 🤣🤣🤣Take care, Terry.
Nice to hear from you Wrighty, it's a pity the winter returned after the end of June but what ya gonna do hope you bring us another vid before the real winter arrives in a few weeks, cheers mate, stay fit.
Hi mate, and thank you. The weather could be a lot to do with our pond problems, as most are suffering with some sort of problem this season. I will do my best to get another video out soon mate. Take care, Terry.
I was so happy to see the lil red dot and a notification from you. Glad to see things are on the mend for you my goodness this hobby can frustrate the heck out of us at times. Im still a novice had my first tiny pond in 2015 so really enjoy learning from your experiences. Take care G
Thanks Gary, very much appreciated mate. I'm keeping my fingers crossed at the moment 🤞🤞but the way my pond is at the moment mate, I'm not counting on anything. That's the thing about keeping koi, we never know everything. Take care, Terry.
Hi Terry ,sorry to hear you've had a bad season ,I've got to say my season has been one of the best considering the weather ,a lot of talk going round about a lot of metals in the tap water ? Just a thought mate ,stay well 👍
Hello mate, and thank you. I must admit, it has been a bit frustrating this season. I think my problem is like you say, the water around here. We've just had 200 new houses built in our little village, so god knows what's going into the water. I did get a printout from the local water board, but I don't really understand it if I'm honest🤣🤣thanks again mate and take care, Terry.
@@Wrighty you know what Terry, it did cross my mind seeing those houses being built behind you, give Andy Finch a ring, he'll talk you through that report, really nice fella, he'll definitely have time for you and no obligation to buy, very knowledgeable about water, give him a ring, at least ir will put your mind at rest 👍
So many people have had issues and not been able to find anything, like you say it has been rough for so many. Good to see chunky is back swimming around. It does appear that we have gone so mad with clear water and maybe over think or tinker. Hope the rest of this balmy season goes 👌
Hi Ian, that's right mate. I've not known anything like it before. I thought Chunky was getting a lot better, but this morning he just swam around in circles for nearly 2 hours. That's usually a sign of stress, but where's it coming from. All the others are fine. If I have no hair in my next video, you'll know why mate 😂😂😂take care, Terry.
Hi Terry, great to hear from you. Sorry to hear of your woes this season. I can understand your frustration in not being able to absolutely be in no doubt about the root cause of the fish health. Like many have said it’s been such an unstable period weather and temp wise I’m certain that has had a strong influence in triggering the issues we have seen or heard about. Anyhow Terry I hope you are well Best Wishes Mate 👍
Hi Paul, and thanks mate, always appreciated. I think you might be right, I can't think of anything else I can put it down to. It's so disappointing, we were all looking forward to a good summer, and it never came. It won't be long now and we'll be thinking of winter. I'm very well mate thank you. I hope you and your family are all well. Take care, Terry.
Hi mate, that's right. I have to admit, it did get me down a bit. I am at the moment trying something new to me, so I'll see how I get on with that. All is going well at the moment. I'll put it in my next video. Thanks mate and take care, Terry.
Good to see you back you’ve a beautiful garden lovely koi Is chunky your favourite so to speak Personally I think your Shushui is fantastic I’ve just bought a Bakki shower and was wondering what media you used
Hi Kevin, and thank you, very much appreciated. I must admit, I do have a soft spot for Chunky, as he's the most friendly out of them. I have 3 different types of media in my bakki shower. The large media in the top and middle tray was donated by Mountain Tree. The round circles are ceramic Siporax, and the other longer media is from JS Koi. Hope it helps mate, Terry.
Hi mate, I must admit, I'll be happier when this season is over. I just sit here waiting for the next thing to go wrong. I hope it all soon picks up for you mate. Take care, Terry.
On the water front mate have you thought about a chat with Andy Finch from finch filtration and the fence and garden are looking sweeeeet bruva 💯👌🧁👍👍👍 Total head scratcher buddy how you get to the bottom of it keep us posted 👍👍👍🧁
Hi mate, I hadn't thought about Andy, I might give him a shout and see what he has to say 👍👍 I have contacted the waterboard, and they're saying, they're not putting anything extra in the water. I'm not sure how true that is, we've had a lot of new builds around us just lately. Thanks mate, very much appreciated, Terry.
Hi Terry my dad had same sort of issue a few years back he tried everything water changes different treatment etc what he did notice is that his media seemed to be breaking down he was getting lots of sand particles so he replaced it all with fresh media and it seemed to solve the issue so he out it down to media be too old or a inferior batch . Anyway hope things get better all the best darrall
Hi Darrall, and thank you. The media in my bakki shower is only 1 year old, but like you say, it could be a bad batch. I will definitely keep my eye on it. Thanks for the tip though mate, much appreciated. Take care, Terry.
Hi Carly, no he's still with us, bless him. He does do well considering what he's like. He is always the first up at feeding time and won't be pushed about by the bigger koi. He must be 12 or 13 years old now, so he's doing really well. Thanks for asking, much appreciated, take care, Terry.
The wife named him Frank after Frank Lampard 🤣🤣he was fine when we got him, and was a really clear white, a beautiful koi. We'd had him for about 1 year, and virtually overnight, he turned yellow. Then about 2 years after that I noticed his back starting to bend. I always thought I would lose him through the winters, but he's always made it. thanks and take care, Terry.
Hi Terry. My theory is that there’s something in the water supply that the fish just don’t like. I have had similar issues to you and I’ve spoken to others that have experienced similar. Anyway fingers crossed it all settles down
Hi Gary, and thanks mate. I have contacted the waterboard about it, and they're saying, they're not putting anything extra in the water. I'm not sure how true that is, we've had a lot of new builds around us just lately. I've also been doing chlorine tests, but it's fine. I must say they are a lot better than they have been, so keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞thanks again mate, take care, Terry.
The little bits of grit are most likely coming from the lotus root you have in the top tier. A lot of people with soft water have had it break up into small pieces. Grab a piece out and see how easy it breaks up👍
Hi Dan, I did actually have a look at the lotus root while I was in there, and it looks fine. Our water here is quite hard. But thank you for the thought though mate, much appreciated. Take care, Terry
@Wrighty my money will be on that still I'm in the west midlands and if I press on it with abit off force it does start to break up. I do know softer water does make it just crumble up after a year tho. 👍
Hi Terry, have you tried Lincolnshire fish health pond detox formula? Lincolnshire Fish Health Pond Detox Formula Neutralises:- Airborne pollution, Tap water contamination, Heavy metals, Horticultural products, Plant toxins, Acid rain, Ammonia, Nitrite, Chemical overdose and general poor pond water conditions.
Hi Phil, thank you mate. To be honest, I hadn't thought about using that. I was thinking of giving them another ring, and seeing what they had to say about the problem. I was thinking Chunky was getting better, he is swimming about more, but this morning he just swam around in circles for about 2 hours. I believe that points to him being stressed. Not sure where that's coming from. All the others are fine. I'll give Paula a ring and see what she has to say. Thanks for the thought mate, really appreciate it. Take care, Terry.
My lot have been a little off this summer as well Terry as you say not quite right cant put my finger on it but all tests and scrapes ok have had three spawning's as well in two months just not normal and the fish have taken a bashing each time my three chags are 65cm and play ruff when it happens it was all to much for my large gold Ogon she seemed ok in the day after but stone dead the next day 20 year old fish one of my first koi.
Hi mate, sorry to hear about your loss, I'd be gutted if I lost Chunky. I think a lot of the problems we're having, are to do with the weather we're getting this season. My pond temp is all over the place. My male koi do try chasing the females, but they don't want to know this season. thanks mate and take care, Terry.
The only thing that I can think of that is causing us all so many issues is the weather. Where it keeps changing so much the air pressure must be all over the place. That must upset the fish. We know they like things to stay stable so maybe that's the issue.
Hi Jim, I totally agree mate. The koi don't know if they're coming or going poor things. I have been thinking about putting my heater on to at least keep the pond at a stable temp, and see if that helps. Thanks mate and take care, Terry.
@@Wrighty I leave my heater on all the time Terry. I just set it to 18 or 19 so if the temp drops below that it kicks in. It does help to keep them a bit more stable. You do still get some fluctuation but it's not as dramatic.
Hi Lawrence, that's right mate, I think the weather has a lot to do with some of the problems we are all getting at the moment. Thanks mate and take care, Terry.
Hi mate, I'm sure it's a male. He's done a lot of chasing when they've spawned in the past, and he's not put any size on around the belly. Thanks for the thought though mate, very much appreciated. Take care, Terry.
Water changes are key, last year,a pipe split, in winter and I lost 4000 g out of my 5000g pond, luckily, one of my filters is a bead filter, with ashp,so I very slowly trickled water in via dechlorinater took about 2 weeks,I have to say,the fish come out of winter, fantastic,no marks,I usually get some ulcers etc, nothing, and this year as a result I have had no blanket weed, iam also unheated from December until April,
Hi David, that's right mate. There are minerals in tap water that's good for the koi. I did 2 big water changes, and I noticed a big difference in the koi. Good to hear your koi all survived ok mate. Thanks and take care, Terry.
Have missed your video’s Terry, you can’t do anymore mate but it looks like you have turned a corner 🤞🙏, keep well Terry, looking forward to more of your precious videos, me being a newbie in this hobby they are priceless, very best wishes to you and the wife.

Wow, things have changed a bit since the last time I watched. Glad to see you're doing well. Everything looks so beautiful ❤️
Hi Rob & Chris, and thank you for your kind comments, it's really appreciated. Take care, Terry.
Great update Terry, the garden is looking mint mate 👌🏼👍🏼
Thanks Pete, very much appreciated mate. Me and the wife do the garden between us. Thanks again mate, Terry.
Good to see you back Terry
Thanks Kev, really nice of you to say so mate. Take care, Terry.
Glad to see things are on the mend Terry 👍
Everyday,s a school day with koi keeping , thanks for the update .
Take care mate👍
That's very true mate. I feel like a schoolboy just lately 😂😂😂 thanks mate and take care, Terry.
Bummer its been a bad season for you, hope things change. Pond & garden look great 👍
Hello mate, and thank you. I think a lot of people have had problems this year for some reason. Thanks again, take care, Terry.
What a lovely pond 👍🏽
Thanks Gavin, very much appreciated, Terry
Wow i was amazed at wow clean your bakki was aswell and i think its just one of them seasons but that koi you won in the auction has put some right growth on
Hi mate, I hope all's well with you and your family. Yes that's right mate, the little Asagi isn't that little anymore 👍👍it's coming on nicely. There's a lot of people had problems this year for some reason. Take care, Terry.
Brilliant, chuffedf everything almost perfect.thanks for the video, which is excellent
Hi Graham, and thanks mate.
@Wrighty nice one Terry I hope it helps mate 😊👍
👍👍@@Wrighty
Great see you bk Terry hope you have turned the corner 👍
Hi Dave, and thank you mate. I do have my fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞if not, I might be bald in my next video mate🤣🤣take care, Terry.
Terry.
Great to hear from you Terry. Cracking update
Thanks mate, very much appreciated, take care, Terry.
Glad to see another video, things seem to be looking up now mate and your Garden's looking great. Thanks for sharing.
Hi mate, and thank you. I might not have any hair in my next video 😂😂if it's not sorted🤣🤣 thanks again mate and take care, Terry.
Glad you’re back! Missed your videos! 😊
Hi Lorraine, and thank you; It's always appreciated. Take care, Terry.
Thanks Lau, I think your wonderful. I'll get some ordered and give it a go, Terry. ❤❤
I finally got around to finish the moving bed filter from the plan you sent me and it’s been working smoothly so far 🤞🏽
so thank you so much.
All the best for what remains of the season
David (in Leeds)
Somehow missed the video coming out. Anyway from what you say, you have had a bit of a nightmare this season. Glad is all coming right now. Take care.
Hi mate, that's right. I have to admit, it did get me down a bit. I am at the moment trying something new to me, so I'll see how I get on with that. All is going well at the moment. I'll put it in my next video. Thanks mate and take care, Terry.
Good to see you back you’ve a beautiful garden lovely koi
Is chunky your favourite so to speak
Personally I think your Shushui is fantastic
I’ve just bought a Bakki shower and was wondering what media you used
Hi Kevin, and thank you, very much appreciated.
Yes thank you Terry only heard of Mountain tree so will look into others many thanks
Must say Terry me too it's been a pain here's hoping better next year 😅
Hi mate, I must admit, I'll be happier when this season is over. I just sit here waiting for the next thing to go wrong. I hope it all soon picks up for you mate. Take care, Terry.
On the water front mate have you thought about a chat with Andy Finch from finch filtration and the fence and garden are looking sweeeeet bruva 💯👌🧁👍👍👍
Total head scratcher buddy how you get to the bottom of it keep us posted 👍👍👍🧁
Hi Terry , we always look out for your little yellow koi with the bent back but can’t see him , has he gone ?
Hi Carly, no he's still with us, bless him. He does do well considering what he's like. He is always the first up at feeding time and won't be pushed about by the bigger koi. He must be 12 or 13 years old now, so he's doing really well. Thanks for asking, much appreciated, take care, Terry.
Good to hear , does he have a name ?
I'm going through the same thing, fish just don't seem right, tested water all fine, maybe lack of sun
Hi mate, I'm thinking the weather is having a lot to do with it. I can't find anything else to put it down to mate. Take care, Terry.
👍
What a magnificent pond and garden. Congratulations.
Thank you mate, it's very much appreciated. Glad you like it. Take care, Terry.
👌
You do still get some fluctuation but it's not as dramatic.
missed you sir
Thank you Peter, it's very much appreciated mate. Take care, Terry.
The last 8 weeks has been awful weather wise ,my water temperature was 16 c on Monday poor fish ,going to be a long winter at this rate , 👍
Hi Lawrence, that's right mate, I think the weather has a lot to do with some of the problems we are all getting at the moment. Thanks mate and take care, Terry.
Could your kihaku be an egg bound female? You will need to purge the eggs.
It has for sure been an odd season
That's right mate, I've not had anything like it before. Take care, Terry.
First 🧁👍👍👍
Second 😀👍👍👍
Lost 5 this year, nothing on scrapes, seems to be bacteria. Soul destroying.
Hi Richy, have you tested for phosphates, I've just found out my phosphates are through the roof. Terry.
