Kisoro District Leaders Call for Urgent Action on Industrial Park Development.

Leaders in Kisoro district are urging the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) to hasten the development of an Industrial park in their region. On August 18th, 2021, authorities allocated 620 acres of Kibaya land in Bunagana and Rukundo Town councils to UIA for the park's creation. Despite this, there has been no apparent progress, leading some leaders to question the commitment of authorities to industrialize the area.
