He sounds like a saxophone player blowing his heart out! (not that Phil can't, but sometimes...) I will be looking for more stuff by this young musician.
I could sit and listen to him blow the whole night. That bass..wish it was better recorded, I think it's got a lovely rich tone which only comes through a couple of times.
I go to the best arts high school in the country and our prodigy is Adam O'Farrill, i would love to see both of them go at it. except this guys 20 years old now and Adams 16, still it would be interesting
I'm in no position as a fellow sax player to knock this guy, I am nowhere near his level, even if I was, I wouldn't knock him, people knocked John Coltrane silly, look what he did to jazz, also Charlie Parker etc etc
