McDonald’s opens the UK’s first Net Zero Carbon Restaurant | Plan for Change | McDonald’s UK

British sheep’s wool insulation, 200,000 landfill plastic bottles transformed into recycled kerbstones and wall signs made from used coffee beans. These are a few changes we have made to create the UK’s first Net Zero Carbon restaurant in Market Drayton.
This is part of our #PlanforChange to achieve net zero emissions by 2040 across the entire McDonald’s UK & Ireland business and will be a blueprint for all future restaurants.
