This is fantastic and thank you. I understand this video is about sharing driving manners and stuff like that, but seeing the action is awesome. You add music/sound, this could be even more exciting and dynamic video! I understand it means more time spent editing, but yeah. Love this!
Great video showcasing what NOT to do and overall track awareness…this has happened to me in the past, either I’ll pit in and give some space to the train / person not giving point by or talk with one of the organizers that xyz car is impeding the flow and they’ll usually have a sit down with the individual
Sweet vid Phelps. I usually become a bit passive aggressive when faster HP cars just won't let me pass, by the 2nd lap when it still couldn't get rid of me; I start flashing my headlights. I do see an alternative for solving it, it's to pit in and ask for space. Problem is..... I will be catching them up about a lap later. I think a lot of experienced drivers will give you a point by after a few corners when they still see you being there. But some have their ego get in the way of learning. I get your frustration with those who have a car powerful enough to accelerate hard down a straight line, but don't have the talent or maybe the correct setup to move in the turns. I call that road cholesterol !
if this is a reoccurring issue you gotta move up to advanced brother. it's much better to give point bys to fast drivers in fast cars rather than fight with oblivious drivers in fast cars lol. it's a waste of track time imo
I am not sure it would be worth it at this point. He could get a supra for all the money he invested plus a turbo kit plus the cost of the car.. Unless he really loves this specific car, not sure if its worth it is it?
What organization was this with? I run with chin in Intermediate and this seems like the wild west compared to that. Seemed like there were alot of passes being attempted without a point by in the first place. That was not an intermediate driver, either did not know the line or did not have enough car control to maintain it.
That dude needs to get out of the way. Seemed like he had absolute disrespect for anyone else on the track. Also seemed like a novice driver, needed an instructor with him telling him to move over.
That right there is typical hurt ego guy. My car is faster is. Not possible that slower car are faster than m type of thing. The orthodox thing. What are the flag stations doing?. That guy need a blue flag .
The main thing about being on tracks, and raceways is maintaining safety. It's great to overtake, or speed ahead, but not at the risk of danger.
I agree! The juice is not worth the squeeze
I love the duality in language from in-car and at home! Keep up the vids and excited to see your progression on track!
Thank you for watching! Should have some exciting news coming soon

Thank you for watching, I’ll input some music on the next one.
Awesome video!
Thank you!
loved the vid!

Exactly! This person should have been in beginners, or paid more attention in the drivers meeting
@@phelpsgarage4202 definitely, I’ve never driven on that track but his car placement is definitely off
Just like people on nice back roads. 20mph around turns, 100 in the passing zones.
😂
Bimmer boy just didn’t want to get passed, too much ego
Either that, or just had no clue of what was going on
Why don't the corner workers give that Bimmer a blue flag?
I doubt he would’ve listened to it.

That video was spot on and so funny 😂

😂 looks like I need to more power 😎

I’ll be in advance with a faster car soon. 😎
Another good one. Looks like you need more hp. Turbo? Supercharger?

Turbo 😎
For all this money I could’ve bought a 718 Porsche 😂. I think I’m gonna keep pushing this car and see where it goes.
Well fair enough, certainly interesting for all of us to see how far this platform can go!@@phelpsgarage4202

I want to start running with chin this yeah and try out new tracks. This guy should’ve been in intermediate and need a good instructor.
Noob question, is a quick honk or a quick flash of the high beams not allowed?
I’m not 100 % sure.. High beams but no honking I would think. One driver told me he was flashing his lights
Maybe a flash to pass, but no horn blowing.
That dude needs to get out of the way. Seemed like he had absolute disrespect for anyone else on the track. Also seemed like a novice driver, needed an instructor with him telling him to move over.
And that’s all it takes is a good instructor to ride with you to make you understand the do’s and don’ts on being on track

And revisit the drivers meeting
