Jordan really is such a gift. And I feel his live versions tend to be even stronger than his studio ones, when he spontaneously and passionately throws some strong and unexpected turn into his vocals. I've come back to him from time to time and, right now, he is my favourite male performer.

The other judges are excellent musicians themselves... they know as well! The fact they turned around at their own pace proves their honest appreciation !
Gwen Stefani's reaction says it all: she's astound about how can someone look like this and have such a good singing voice - as if the one thing has anything to do with the other.
Without seeing it I would say it was a woman singing, at second 00:35 Adam and Blake realize it's a man as soon as he sings loudly, so Blake turns around immediately. that's my thought.
