If your piece is 3* and on board, you can’t find it in shop anymore. But when you bench it, it is possible.

hey oli, i really need a guide on how to counter dragon mages, i asked you a couple of times and you keep saying "counter it, buy riki's, get nagas" and i keep doing it but still get shit on. I haven't beaten a dragon/mage late game board in 3 weeks lol. Even with two rikis and 4 nagas i still lose, do i really have to go 6 nagas?

Get pipe, get templar assassin. Maybe that can help

Late game Dragon/mage is really strong and hard to beat. You can try assasin with 2/4 centaur or 6 naga. 4 naga is not so effective against 5 dragon

Bkb is not guaranteed
If the dragons player gets to lvl 12 it's over

Riki, Naga, Centaur, Pipe, Bkb.
And - the truth is, often people lose to Dragons because they aren't doing anything to put pressure in the lobby. If you aren't putting any pressure in the lobby and just waiting hoping to scratch together a late-game, of course you will be beaten by what is on paper a good and solid late-game build.
Try to play for an earlier timing - i.e. boards that come online round 21 and can deal damage! If you do that + roll for items that help beat Dragons/find Riki/add Naga you should see success. GL!

Oli, why is everyone pushing lvl 4 and 5 early on? I'm always in shock to see everyone pushing so hard without a single upgraded unit
I tend to lose streak with priests if they do it

pushing high level early game will give you 4-cost units early, which is quite advantageous if you intend to play winstreak

depends on relics available. like if theres no vault or shrink no need to save gold early. If theres reaper,egg or seeds its good to push early

What other people have said, but also: winning gives you +1 gold, saves you HP and gives pushes the lobby. This all leads to a lot of flexibility in the late-game, letting you have the option to pick and choose what you want to do over being force to act based on just what you find.
