- The pattern you're going to learn today is an inverted juggle. So think of a circle when you're doing the "offset backspin". Think of a straight line when you're doing a "chase", and think of the number 8 when you're doing an inverted "juggle". So the number 8 are two circles together but in the center in of the number they cross and they invert. So it's like the circles are mirroring each other. That's an inverted "juggle". I call them #invertedjugglesequences.

This video would make more sense if the instructor's camera was oriented like that of the student (bird's eye view). Why are we watching the student's turntables and not the instructor? The orientation of this video is actually backwards.
Rob(or any video instructing DJ) should ALWAYS present their turntables as the center and from a bird's eye view, so that the viewer can more easily translate the motions. There is less value is seeing the student, in large, while the instructor is a small vid that is oriented in a mirror image.
FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION FOR ROB:
Why not discuss "drops" and "offsets" in terms of the beat numbers and the half beats between them?
For example, in this and your "offset" video, never do you discuss "on what beat are drops" taking place. In this current video, the drop of the second turn table appears to occur on BEAT 2 (directly after the "1-and" of the first turntable). In the "offset" video, you use to term without ever properly defining what exactly is an "offset" in term of "on which beat does the drop occur." In both this and the "offset" video, never do you reveal that the drops are occuring on BEAT 2. Imagine a math teacher who is explaining numbers to kids and never uses a number line as a concrete object that can help the student. Rob should discuss these drops in terms of :
"1-and-2-and-3-and-4-and" OR
Beat 1
Beat 1 and 1/2
Beat 2
Beat 2 and 1/2
Beat 3
Beat 3 and 1/2
Beat 4
Beat 4 and 1/2
Use these elements to help the student "map" exactly where these ambiguous "drops" you keep referring to. You have alluded to 4/4 time in other videos, why not use the beats to PRECISELY EXPLAIN WHERE THE DROPS OCCUR.
SECOND FUNDAMENTAL QUESTION:
Why EVER discuss a "right" and "left" turntable and not a "first" and "second" turntable. "Left" and "right" are confusing when the instuctor is facing you. Moreover, what difference does it make in which turntable you start with? You should be careful when you refer to a "right" and "left."
Rob your patients and ability to adapt to the students learning styles makes you a great teacher. Never give up the fight!💪

Crazy how I use this exact same pattern just with another song. I did it on the shadow boatride yesterday using the intro to Droppin’ Science. Fader control & pace is key to getting this perfect!
