They called it a Walkman. At somepoint they stopped producing it. Why you might ask. Nobody really knows maybe the big companys got them into court or something. It is almost impossible to get one today. The only real alternative is a phone with some earplugs but we'll know that that's not even close of being the same as a Walkman. Maybe one day people like you and me make it possible by creating such a device for people like you and me.

If you guys think listening to this is great, try going on a hike somewhere in north Europe/anywhere with beautiful nature/mountains. Luckily I live in England so whenever I go to north wales or scotland and hike, I play witcher 3 soundtrack and it makes the track about 200% better. It's so immersive.
Not in Europe myself but Maine, Acadia hiking or Upstate NY the Adirondack Mountains - some nice hiking & camping. You play these tracks and suddenly you have a craving for a sweetroll! :)

I can't help but I have to comment on this beautiful manifestation of such lovely and soothingly melodious beauty... Makes me want to go to past when only a green-life existed , not much advanced- technology but just a simple life in a village working hard and having big dreams in the gloomy and foggy mountains. While it rains and you sit inside a cave and watch the valleys from top of the mountain and watch that dream girl who has a such beautiful face and an innocent smile...You sigh and roam and hang about the day with your buddies, you play together, sleep together, cry together.. All those happy moments just speak from the bottom of my heart even its not the reality and I have never experienced such things..but this song has something in it...

same thing here i used to play it with my classmates after school and one of my friends was the most perfect dm ever. it would be so fun and he actually made us feel like were in the game and that we could expirience the fantasy world as our own, he would tend to lean on the emotional and social side more then the combat however we still shared quite a bit of on edge moments lol. today we rarely see each other and dont play anymore, i havent even stept in to the room we used to play in. this is the music he used to play and i listen to it daily. damn im getting emotional writing this. the friend that was dming tought me how to dm and i started playing with other friend groups and people loved it, however when i look back i was pretty bad at it xD. when i grow up ill try to expirioence this feeling again when my activities clear up

In fact, as I listen to this, I already imagine myself putting this as a background music for a long travel, as I describe my D&D players the majestic enchanted forest they are walking through, the playful wind messing with their hair and the bright rays of sun getting through the tree branches: the characters are just enjoying this quiet and peaceful moment, but knowing full well their journey has only just begun.

Daniel Welker Try more songs from The Witcher soundtrack! It is so BEAUTIFUL, a good balance of intense and peaceful songs. It's different than Skyrim in the sense that it has more "life" in my opinion, but they're similar in style.
