If you want to be a med doctor of some sort, then yes Med school is worth it as that's about the only way. If you want to go my way of being a PA and you can't decide between PA school or Med school. My suggestion would be, med school. There's a lot of companies you can work for and many discriminate on where you went to school and it's 100% worse for physicians. I'm a little different and didn't get as much negativity for going to PA school. I was a combat rescue medic in the US Air Force. I got out and didn't want to do medevac anymore. So off to PA school and it was a reasonable crossover for me and MUCH less stress. I say all that because, I watched as many PAs got turned down or treated much differently due to their schooling and not to their knowledge. Though it was more prevalent at larger conglomerate healthcare facilities, I saw it in smaller as well. The biggest issue is cost. PA school is MUCH cheaper and you can get just as good of an education (most times it's better). Later on in life, when you see it may be hampering your advancement, go then when you have more expertise and make that big money.
