How many hives do you run? How many nucs do you run. I'm a beekeeper getting back into running bees and I'm starting to make my own queens and nucs. We are located in central alberta, canada. We want to eventually get to about 1600 hives.
smashed queen because its too late to split? you kinda split it. i ordered nucs last week and am cramming info. some in the south split with just queen cell and 3 stocked frames in 5 frame nucs. the northern winters hit hard an fast. do you breed bees for sale or honey? thanks for posting the video
Look good. He didn’t put in “in” the grass and the 1 frame he had the very end of the frame in the grass the other end leaning on the hive. This is standard practice and fine.
Love to see the action. One day I’ll be in the hive without a veil!

What to feed honey bees (love the video)
I always get irky when I see someone dump drawn frames or boxes with frames on the grass.
Except when it's Michael Palmer who forgot more about beekeeping in the last 3 seconds than you'll ever know, right?
