Fishing Shaver Lake

we decided to take a boat out to Shaver for the first time
smallmouth was all over the crickets and nightcrawlers
trout, carp, and catfish was off of nightcrawlers
It was a hot day and my first time seeing shaver lake this way... northeast side was open... I didn't know it was a summer thing...
couldn't bring the kokanee in on a wedding ring spinner with a nightcrawler trailer...
