Watch this video to see how-to setup an intrusion zone so that when a human is detected by entering the intrusion zone, the PTZ camera automatically tracks the person using autonomous pan, tilt, zoom controls.
This network IP PTZ camera has 360 degree rotation, a 25x optical zoom lens, and built-in AI software (artificial intelligence). This IP surveillance camera has 4 megapixel resolution and built-in IR night vision. The IR night vision is effective up to 100 meters / 300 feet.
The built-in AI object detection software is able to detect humans, faces, cars, and vehicles. Intrusion zones can be setup so that when a person and / or vehicle enters the intrusion zone, the camera automatically tracks the object, using autonomous PTZ controls. This camera supports the following AI software functions: vehicle detection, traffic counting, person detection, people counting, and human face detection. Do I have to have a NVR connected to this or can I use a MicroSD or a Network Attached Storage? I see the Datasheet says it can support up to a 256GB MicroSD card but is all of the analytics built into the camera to work as a standalone?

All of the artificial intelligence analytics are available on the camera, however, it is easier to manage with the NVR. Yes you can use a micro SD card and network storage.

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even th-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.
Hello, I was looking for a solution to activate autotracking on provision and after exploiting all their content, I didn't find anything and after formulating differently, I tried with your video to see if there were similarities... you talk about similarities... exactly the same menus, I can't say who builds for whom and who is a white label but what I can say is in 1) thank you for your didactic video, it concretely showed me the voice to follow and in 2) thank you to the TH-cam algorithms that do the job well for the blow 100% at the first click, thank you again comrade!

Mike, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately not. The auto-tracking function of this PTZ camera is either on or off. It can not be setup on a schedule.

Hello from Greece.I have a question.Can this camera doing PATROL(cruise on 4-10 presets) and the same time smart tracking is working??? I try and i cant,when i lock camera.
Hello. Unfortunately, not. You can not use smart auto-tracking and patrol at the same time. You must choose one or the other.
Thanks for ellaborate scenarios - what would happen if you can experiment and let me know if there are two or more subjects in the intrusion area - quite interested to know who would it select to track - what happens altogether while it is tracking one subject and another enters the area.
It will track the one that gets a higher positive ID score. Meaning the software chooses the one that looks more human.

what if 2 peopple waking ini different direction. will camera zoom in to single person or will take the 1st oerson then move to second direction
The AI software of the camera will prioritize whichever person it identifies more positively and follow that person. For example, if it is 99.9% sure object 1 is person and 99.3% positive that the second object is a person, it will follow person 1.

What if someone pulls the camera away from the entrance leaving the door unobserved for the duration of the first guy being in shot?
That is the downside of PTZ cameras and most of the time CCTV Camera Pros recommends multiple fixed cameras vs PTZ cameras.

What if there are two people opposite each other in two different places? How does it cam them?
The AI software will prioritize the object with the highest identification probability. For example, if human #1 is identified with 98% probability of being a human, and human #2 is 85%, then the auto-tracking software will track human #1.

Therefore, we will not have any proof of the robbery, because the camera focused on taking a video of the innocent human No. 1!! I suggest that there be two cameras on a device, one main and one sub. The AI software will track the first object that enters the intrusion zone. If 2 or more objects enter at exactly the same time, the AI software prioritizes the one with the highest likelihood of actually being human.

About 100 feet away zoomed out. And 500 feet zoomed in.

When more that one person is detected by the AI software, the camera prioritizes the best match and follows that person. For example, if person A is identified with 99.1% confidence and person B is identified with 99.8% confidence, the PTZ camera will auto-track person B.

How do I let my camera auto track then go back to preset patrolling
The camera supports auto-tracking or preset patrolling. It can not do both at the same time though.

@@chestah_beatz3545 Our PTZ camera does not support that. It either can be in auto-tracking mode or on an automatic tour of preset locations. It can not do both. If you have another brand of auto-tracking PTZ camera, I suggest you contact that supplier to see if your model can support that. I do not think that any of them do though.

Great question! When there are multiple targets in the detection zone, the software can only track one. So, it prioritizes the one that is more positively identified. For example, if the software ranks the first target an 80 on a scale of 1 to 10, and the second target a 70, then it will track the first target.

seams like a very easy system to defeat. by simply sending a a person to distract the camera to follow the person and then someone else comes in a breaks into the cars
Auto-tracking PTZ cameras are usually used in conjunction with fixed lens cameras to alleviate this issue. CCTV Camera Pros does not typically recommend auto-tracking PTZ cameras as a complete replacement for fixed cameras. As a matter of fact, we only recommend auto-tracking PTZs in specific situations.

I was thinking the same thing. Jerks a lot while tracking. Would be better if the movement was smoother. I'm sure with time they will improve this as I'm sure they noticed this as well.

Tracking software needs work. Very choppy and unsmooth.
DJ, Thank you for your comments. Most of our customers have been very satisfied with how smooth the camera moves. I will say that the auto-tracking is a bit choppier than manual controls.
