Uhh no, I think BSS may have taken place in a world which has a Lot of Oxygen because apparently an increase in oxygen will cause insects to grow bigger and people to be generally happier which may also explain the cheerfulness of BSS.

Grams and kilograms are the most common measurements for liquid-state items in the real world, and the numbers on the amount of honey you get is probably calculated by a weighing scale. Although I’m not too sure how players like e_lol store trillion grams of honey. Maybe a wormhole..? I doubt it. 3. Like real life, the most important stage for a human is the teenager age/ children age. Why? Because that’s when the body needs to grow rapidly. That’s why people usually say that children and teenager need to eat a lot. During children stage, a lot of nutrients is needed for the brain and other human parts to grow, so more nutrients is needed for children than for adults(because their human parts stop growing). Hence, like bees, the higher the level is, the more nutrients is need to feed your child( in this case bee) so the bee can have enough nutrients to grow and grow and grow. When it reaches lvl 25(max level) it becomes adult and requires less treats. 2. In the world, there is an extremely rare disorder known as lycanthropy(Greek word). Basically, humans suffering from this disorder tend to see other humans as wolves or other non-human animals. This means, a patient can see other humans as fishes, wolves, owls, or even bears. What I think is happening here is that we as the players have lycanthropy, which causes us to see the npcs, as bears. However, Bucko and Riley bee don’t have limbs, and even if you have lycanthropy, you will still see the human with two arms and two legs, like bears. However, with no limbs, this means bucko and Riley bee are truly actual bees, and the npc bears are just humans talking English( just that you see them as bears), and the only way to communicate with them is with a translator. 1. Err... umm.. uhh... yeah I don’t know what is going on with the blender, if I’m being honest. I have no argument for this one.
I think I debunked the honey theory. The shovel (first item in the game) gives you 4-8 honey. If it was drops of honey, then the size doesn’t add up. This logic applies to the vacuum, rake, and scissor. The only viable idea is the backpacks are actually advanced technology’s that are bigger in the inside. This is viable considering how many weird size discrepancies there are in the game (i.e dispensers and buying treats and royal jellies).
For number 3, I like to think that the bees just have supper fast metabolism, and since it’s so fast they can also feed themselves by collecting pollen in the fields. That’s why they only give you some pollen, they’re also eating some of it.
I think I have an explanation for the moon charms, So you know how your bond increases when you feed moon charms to your bees? I think the pineapple makes the part where it turns into food , making it a food to feed to your bee for high bond This is just a theory, but that’s what I think.
The bond mechanic could be better with this. Depending on how much your bee eats, it gets a an amount of calories, which could give your bee energy and boosts, but eating too much would get a lower rate of boosts, feeding nothing to your bee would get a deboost, the bee would get tired more easily, collect less pollen, convert less and make less tokens, getting your bee a good balance would increase the bond, bees like exhausted bee would not see any clear deboost if given more food than needed, as that bee is always tired, baby bee would just need fruit as babies shouldn't eat sugar and stuff, this mechanic would allow for a bigger variety of bees and treats. It's such a complex mechanic that I don't think it would get added.
There should be stories on how they got the translator ex: Spirit bear was a finalist in the memory match game and tied up with science bear, soon after a whole event of memory match… spirit bear won and got a translator as a prize. after that event, science bear wanted to learn more about the translator and soon made himself one
I have a theory, our backpacks are for pollen so honey can’t be in there. My thoughts are certain parts of the mountain store the honey, or the “honey void” (example for the mountain part, behind the hives.)
0:30 the bags contain pollen and there are many things to convert or get a lot of honey while in a field (coin scatter passive, gummy/pop/scorch passives, instant conversion, honey marks and festive marks, science bear morph, etc...)

The thing is that Riley and Bucko’s quests are detailed-Honey Bee’s quests are simple enough that it doesn’t need a Translator, because you already know what to do. That’s how I interpret it at least
My ideas on these points: 4. Honey quantity. It is a little odd that this is never discussed (from what I know), but I feel like it’s because it’s never a true value. Different things may cost more or less than any true recipe, and I feel the uncertainty here is what gives the game its spice. 3. Treat consumption. I feel like this is more practical than anything. While it may seem odd feeding a single bee 45,000 treats in less than a day, it’s best for the player. The other option Onett could have given us is that you need to combine treats into mega treats. These would be made in the blender, be fed one at a time, and give a cooldown. You can proably see the issue. Level up is not meant to be grinded out like that. It would be hard on the player, and make for a bad experience. 2. Translators for bees and not bears. I feel like the reason for this is the difference between bees and bears. In Bee Swarm, bears are advanced, having bears like science bear making advanced research to upgrade our living. The bees work more primitively, not using tools like the bears or the player. The reason for communication with the bears is that they are evolved enough. They stand on two feet and function almost identical to a player. The main reason for the lack of movement is that we are smaller or they simply don’t want to. The bears even have Roblox idle animations. They are clearly past simple animals, like the bees. 1. Crafting. This one is pretty simple. It’s actually explained to us in science bears quest [Meticulously Crafted]. Sure, pineapples for moon charms may seem weird, but so is tools or even phones from rocks and sticks. Sometimes the most basic materials arranged right can make the weirdest things, and science bear specializes in that. Overall, we’re proably digging to deep. It’s a simulator on Roblox about bees. Most of this stuff is for the players sake. It would be hard without the bears to begin with and impossible to make a translator to talk to them. It would take time and more effort required to get better treats. The crafting recipes are designed to be properly difficult for the thing you’re making. It’s Bee Swarm. Sure it has its flaws, but, what game doesn’t?

i think the bee translator thing has some logic to it. i’m gonna use Amphibia logic as an example. the frogs talk, certain weird things talk, but for plot convenience, the bugs don’t, and so do the bees lol

I think the reason why pineapples are used for creating moon charms is because these moon charms are just a proxy, using pineapples as the base (instead of moon rock) and using the magical properties of royal jelly to make something which is almost the one to one recreation (also the reason why gumdrops are used is as a binder so that it stays together) this theory can also make some of the other crafting recipes more... Accurate to the actual version
(addition to the 2nd question) You need a translator for riley and bucko bee but not for honey bee for some reason, it doesn't get any NPC updates for events too.

It’s weird that we can talk to honey bee without a translator but we can’t talk to bucko or riley
Arguments:
4. The measurement Onett is most likely going for is grams. Grams and kilograms are the most common measurements for liquid-state items in the real world, and the numbers on the amount of honey you get is probably calculated by a weighing scale. Although I’m not too sure how players like e_lol store trillion grams of honey. Maybe a wormhole..? I doubt it.
3. Like real life, the most important stage for a human is the teenager age/ children age. Why? Because that’s when the body needs to grow rapidly. That’s why people usually say that children and teenager need to eat a lot. During children stage, a lot of nutrients is needed for the brain and other human parts to grow, so more nutrients is needed for children than for adults(because their human parts stop growing). Hence, like bees, the higher the level is, the more nutrients is need to feed your child( in this case bee) so the bee can have enough nutrients to grow and grow and grow. When it reaches lvl 25(max level) it becomes adult and requires less treats.
2. In the world, there is an extremely rare disorder known as lycanthropy(Greek word). Basically, humans suffering from this disorder tend to see other humans as wolves or other non-human animals. This means, a patient can see other humans as fishes, wolves, owls, or even bears. What I think is happening here is that we as the players have lycanthropy, which causes us to see the npcs, as bears. However, Bucko and Riley bee don’t have limbs, and even if you have lycanthropy, you will still see the human with two arms and two legs, like bears. However, with no limbs, this means bucko and Riley bee are truly actual bees, and the npc bears are just humans talking English( just that you see them as bears), and the only way to communicate with them is with a translator.

I think I debunked the honey theory. The shovel (first item in the game) gives you 4-8 honey. If it was drops of honey, then the size doesn’t add up. This logic applies to the vacuum, rake, and scissor. The only viable idea is the backpacks are actually advanced technology’s that are bigger in the inside. This is viable considering how many weird size discrepancies there are in the game (i.e dispensers and buying treats and royal jellies).

Depending on how much your bee eats, it gets a an amount of calories,
which could give your bee energy and boosts, but eating too much would get a lower rate of boosts,
feeding nothing to your bee would get a deboost, the bee would get tired more easily, collect less pollen, convert less and make less tokens,
getting your bee a good balance would increase the bond, bees like exhausted bee would not see any clear deboost if given more food than needed, as that bee is always tired, baby bee would just need fruit as babies shouldn't eat sugar and stuff, this mechanic would allow for a bigger variety of bees and treats.
It's such a complex mechanic that I don't think it would get added.

The thing is that Riley and Bucko’s quests are detailed-Honey Bee’s quests are simple enough that it doesn’t need a Translator, because you already know what to do. That’s how I interpret it at least

My ideas on these points:
4. Honey quantity. It is a little odd that this is never discussed (from what I know), but I feel like it’s because it’s never a true value. Different things may cost more or less than any true recipe, and I feel the uncertainty here is what gives the game its spice.
3. Treat consumption. I feel like this is more practical than anything. While it may seem odd feeding a single bee 45,000 treats in less than a day, it’s best for the player. The other option Onett could have given us is that you need to combine treats into mega treats. These would be made in the blender, be fed one at a time, and give a cooldown. You can proably see the issue. Level up is not meant to be grinded out like that. It would be hard on the player, and make for a bad experience.
2. Translators for bees and not bears. I feel like the reason for this is the difference between bees and bears. In Bee Swarm, bears are advanced, having bears like science bear making advanced research to upgrade our living. The bees work more primitively, not using tools like the bears or the player. The reason for communication with the bears is that they are evolved enough. They stand on two feet and function almost identical to a player. The main reason for the lack of movement is that we are smaller or they simply don’t want to. The bears even have Roblox idle animations. They are clearly past simple animals, like the bees.
1. Crafting. This one is pretty simple. It’s actually explained to us in science bears quest [Meticulously Crafted]. Sure, pineapples for moon charms may seem weird, but so is tools or even phones from rocks and sticks. Sometimes the most basic materials arranged right can make the weirdest things, and science bear specializes in that.
Overall, we’re proably digging to deep. It’s a simulator on Roblox about bees. Most of this stuff is for the players sake. It would be hard without the bears to begin with and impossible to make a translator to talk to them. It would take time and more effort required to get better treats. The crafting recipes are designed to be properly difficult for the thing you’re making. It’s Bee Swarm. Sure it has its flaws, but, what game doesn’t?

I think the reason why pineapples are used for creating moon charms is because these moon charms are just a proxy, using pineapples as the base (instead of moon rock) and using the magical properties of royal jelly to make something which is almost the one to one recreation (also the reason why gumdrops are used is as a binder so that it stays together) this theory can also make some of the other crafting recipes more... Accurate to the actual version
