This is EXACTLY what I needed. Some khan academy videos just drop you right into the explanation, without telling you what they did first in their example. This is simple, and gets straight to the point. Please keep making these types of videos. You deserve more subs for this video alone.
Hi Mario, I'm still a little bit confused about finding an angle between 0 and 2 pi that is coterminal with the given angle do you think you could explain it to me? Thanks!
Good question Rishit...one application is that when you learn about the unit circle angles that are coterminal will have the same sine, cosine and tangent values....
+Erika Claudia add 360 twice...or 3 times or as many times as you want....or subtract 360 from any angle as many times as you want and you will get another angle that is coterminal with your angle

Hi Mario,
I'm still a little bit confused about finding an angle between 0 and 2 pi that is coterminal with the given angle do you think you could explain it to me?
Thanks!
Hello, what does coterminal angle means ?
It means the angles end up in the same position.
I don’t know why teachers gotta use high vocabulary and make something so simple difficult
thank youuuuuuu
You’re welcome Rasha!
Sir Really nice explanation but i have one doubt sir
What is the main purpose of the finding the co-terminal angle
Thank you
Good question Rishit...one application is that when you learn about the unit circle angles that are coterminal will have the same sine, cosine and tangent values....
@@MariosMathTutoring Thank you so much sir for your reply sir
once i will learn ahead it will help me right
thank you sir
what about -380°? thanks
+Erika Claudia add 360 twice...or 3 times or as many times as you want....or subtract 360 from any angle as many times as you want and you will get another angle that is coterminal with your angle
why do you add or subtract 360
Jessica it is because when you add or subtract 360 degrees you are going one complete revolution and are ending in the same position...
@@MariosMathTutoring omg thanks
You’re welcome Jessica!
Why is it important to find coterminals??? Man why must we find negative or positive ones
