    Ty for making this video, it helped me better then all of the other drift tuning videos for Forza 4. I used this on a few other cars other than the FRS and it works just as well! Ty again

    I'm usually not into drifting stuff but THIS. This is pretty good.

    Definitely deserves a sub! Good job dude!!! :)

    I said it in a joking tone. It's an outstanding platform from factory, and doesn't need to be tweaked but when done correctly, it gets so much better.

    Any Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive car will drift pretty good. One of my favorite cars is the E46 BMW M3. The 240sx, and RWD converted Skylines are really popular.

    it helps to know how to drift in real life. I watched a video where the japanese drift champion did a tutorial of how to drift and how to get started and what cars were best for begginers(that's got to be spelt wrong...) and he explains all kinds of techniques such as feint drifting brake drifting etc. like a feint drift is where you steer the opposite way then sling it back the right way and pull the hand brake release it and dump the clutch and heel toe and counter steer to keep it going.

    Dude! thank you so much for this vid!!!
    so check this out. i am a horrible drifter, yet i started drifting since i got forza 4. now im still a rookie but with certain cars i have such as the 2000 model silvia, and now the nissan skyline (the one that favors the infinity G37)... just following your settings and advice i have nearly double my drifting abilities!! so thank you very much for turning this noob into at least a rookie drifter lol!!

    I said in the beginning, it's how I tune my cars. Not the best way. That's also why I left a very informative and thorough tuning guide in the description. Oh, and I changed the camber, lowered it, and changed the settings on the differential :) I only made this video because, so many people asked me personally. I didn't want to make it just because, there are already so many videos out there. But I do appreciate your criticism, and I do agree with you that I should have gone more in detail.

    Yes. I usually go widest front and rear. Some people prefer narrow fronts though. Just try it out.

    Adding positive front toe helps tons! It allows you to have much more angle but with the drawback is being a bit more difficult. Try it out some time! :)
    p.s. Your videos are awesome!

    I came here looking for better ways to tune my drift cars (I like being experimental) and it turns out you tune pretty much the same as me! haha. Only slight differences being the diff and the brake bias. With the diff I usually have a 60-30 ratio give or take 10 each way depending on the car. For the brake bias, I drift without ABS and change the bias tot 22% and drop the pressure to 88%. This allows me brake normally, but lock the rear giving me more angle when I slam the brakes on.

  • @Forza4You

    Personally, (and as many tandem drifters) I only use UP TO 650. My Current E46 has 601, I think. But underpowered cars (400-525) are great because, you can just mash the gas and that makes them quick and smooth, but if you can figure out how to put down 650HP you'll have a wicked fast car.

  • @Forza4You

    Thanks! Hmm, that's interesting. My setups keep the tires at 32-34 PSI while I drift, so I get pretty solid grip :) Thanks for the info!

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Glad I can do all of that for you :) Haha love you too

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I said that lol. Not much to it, people often over-think Drifting and how to do it. It's just understanding car control and lots and lots of practice. Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive, and you're set. Keep in mind, you can Convert many AWD cars to RWD.

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't really have that "one car" but I like to cycle between:
    - Boss 302
    - FR-S
    - E36 M3
    - E46 M3
    There's a few more, but those are the ones I mainly use. German cars are my favorite :)

  • @Forza4You

    It is a heap of power, but when you're in competitions and trying to leave the other guys behind you need all the power you can get. (Though it is not all about power)

    You are SERIOUSLY good! lol, I just like to fool around on Forza sometimes and drift but I need alot more practice..lulz

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    You have to buy the DLC. Anything Front Engine, Rear Wheel Drive will work. I use the BMW M3's. They work very well.

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hahaha :) Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

  • @Forza4You

    S-class. Anything A or S will work great as a Drift Car.

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Awh, thanks :3 Haha, I'm glad I could help!

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Having a rear/mid-engined car? Not necessarily. It's easier to get the back end of a rear-engined car out, just harder to hold angle around big corners, and transitions will be tricky. Just stick with Front Engine, Rear Wheel drive with less than 650HP.

    9:24 was still my favorite part

  • @Hamisxa
    @Hamisxa 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    I prefer to set it by multiplying point A by point B so (A) the weight of the car and (B) The weight percentage (Most cars have .52) So Example car weights 1,150 kg. And has Weight percentage as .52 so you multiply 1,150 with .52 which is equal to 598 and then you divide it by the pressure it had so it should be divided by 5.7 and you set it as 7th number which is 28,0 and then to the Rear you add 1 to it so the set is 29,0.
    Well it mostly works on my cars ;p

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Well, I max out platform and handling and all the transmission stuff. Then I use sport tires and the widest profiles. Then I upgrade the engine to however much power I want.

  • @andresroman7437

  • @Miss__Victoria
    @Miss__Victoria 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    If you're like me you can just throw a bunch of parts on the car with no tune at all and drift it or if it's good stock drift it without changing it.

  • @KendraBlackblade89
    @KendraBlackblade89 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    i recomend the nissan skyline coupe (it looks like an infinity G37) i find this car performs ver very well with his settings from the vid.

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    This tune isn't "Car Specific" this is a basic tune that I use on pretty much all of my cars.

  • @percs7778
    @percs7778 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    simple drift tune both tire pressure at 26.5 psi and max camber front and rear street tires 580-640hp max make ur 4rd gear have a max speed of 115mph max accelration and deaccelration brakes 70% front 70% pressure

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, with all the weight in the back in makes the car's balance uneven and can get really sloppy when you're throwing it around. You want front engine. Though, it's not impossible to have a good mid/rear-engine drift car, it's just not recommended.

  • @Forza4You

    There's plenty of great tutorials already on TH-cam :) I've had a lot of people ask me and it's really hard for me personally to explain. I've been doing it since the original Forza so it's kinda natural for me. Just understand the basics, and you'll pick it up quick! Learn throttle control and counter-steering :)

    No one really sells a handbrake. If you want one, you have to use a gear lever and mod it to activate your handbrake. Plenty of people do it. TheSlapTrain uses a similar setup. Ask him, or look up "Fanatec handbrake mod" or something.

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Haha, it's cool bro. No problem, and thank you! lol, it's an awesome car!

  • @AWSimDrifter
    @AWSimDrifter 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Apologies for the triple post, but I too was wondering where the hell you can find a company that sells a handbrake lever. Fanatec have everything BUT a handrake lever. It's the only thing putting me off of a wheel. Awesome steering wheel, pedals with clutch, nice gear shifter and then a button for the handbrake -_- If I was going to use a wheel, I'd want the whole setup, no compromises.

  • @Forza4You
    @Forza4You  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    That misconception is exactly what I just explained -_- You want TONS OF GRIP so you can FAST. I don't mean Grip Driving, I mean Drifting. In a sense, you actually want all the grip you can get when you Drift. If you don't have any Grip, you don't go anywhere.

  • @Forza4You

    You did good on tire explination, that helped. But you didn't do so well on the differential that seeems to be the biggest variance between drivers. I have yet to find someone who explains why they set it (as in what does it do to the car). I get that there is so much that goes into tuning but maybe you could talk more about the telemetry and physics of the car. Im playing with a C2 corvette, and I know that is well over the power of any of the drift tunes I've seen. I'm looking for more logic.

  • @Forza4You
