I just realised this is around a 2 hour Podcast which is a 2010s film’s running length. Well done!
Is it a flex that I knew every movie mentioned in this podcast? It was quite a trip down the memory lane, imagining what I was doing at the time each of the mentioned movies released. Maybe music & movies is the only time travel we have. Thank you for doing this

You forget one of my favorite comedy in 2010 Katthe Mettha
This was the decade of stories set up in smaller towns and they sort of drove a major part of the narrative of the film. Varanasi is a primary character in Masaan and Ranjhana.
Parineeti Chopra started the decade with bang but lost the steam mid way. Tapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar, Yami Gautam, Ileana all of them did some good films.
Seema Pahwa has become the most important character in all the movies that came post Aankho Dekhi.

For that part. That guy used to run a small photo studio. Aadar definitely looks too rich for that. Varun could have fit that part though.

‘Kahaani 2’ was actually quite good (not without its plot problems) but it wasn’t hyped enough.

I just came back from my hostel after the exam and found this. My whole night is gone in studying, and after that, it is so pleasant to my eyes.
2012 for me was the brilliance of ‘Kahaani’, ‘English Vinglish’, ‘Aiyyaa’ and ‘Talaash’.
Aadar just invented a new genre of movies: Akshay Kumar’s Police Movies.

Tishu wanted to make the whole movie(PST) what he said I don't remember the exact technical nuances of it, but he wanted to show it like a wide bigger picture something shooting with particular lens and such mm screen, imagine how it would have enhanced the experience of watching that movie in the theatre and even in our homes. So he managed to somehow take wider shots by doing some tricks, it was amazing!
Totally agree with Varun and Kautuk that the reason for 2010s movies getting terrible and we had grown up too
