What a heartfelt response to something that may have been awarded for the necessity of nostalgia. Thing is, Canada rejected Leonard, and now perhaps trying to make up for it? I didn't know he won this award? But I fully agree with his son, Adam, on the response he gave with sincerity. He wasn't rude, he was spot on. Leonard has won something far greater than any awards though...the people who appreciate his words of humility and honesty...along with his "golden voice"...indeed it was, still is, in my books. Amen!

I love Adam's honesty here. His own album "We Go Home" is very much underrated.

I agree, he seems always to be honest and reveals vulnerable places in his own work as well. I hope he does well.
