Its super underrated how Chi Chi immediately understands what its like to lose your husband, and allows Bulma to be "Vegito's" wife. That is well-written Chi Chi, and not the mega-shrew the fandom often assumes she is.

@@MondoCool I would argue you hate shrew-Chi Chi, which is legitimate. Especially in anime filler and the movies they have nothing for her to do so they default to "insufferable nag", in general when Chi Chi is written competently she is supposed to be a country-bumpkin who wants better for her sons, so yeah she's a little bit of a Karen, but is ultimately good-hearted.
Then again, maybe you DO hate Chi Chi in general, which is also fair. Anyone is allowed to dislike any character they want. Some people hate Sakura from Naruto even when she is written well, not only when she is written like garbage.

I always thought chi chi giving up vegito was the saddest thing in multiverse because you really see how she dealt with gokus absence and the toll it took on her and the fact that she felt vegitos absence wouldnt make a difference really hits me hard

When you look in the comment section of the webcomic it's overwhelmingly positive, everyone loves it and it's hitting peak comment volume. The art in the Gast chapter was beautiful.

it REALLY isn't. Right now there's some cool and intriguing stuff, but wait till he gets into the Babidi Battle Royale and you'll see just how bad this gets
nah not really i mean this is one of the best fan made manga i've seen for any anime and it still has flaws meanwhile the majority of the rest of them are pretty shitty. For example Dragon ball Kame started of great then turned to shit towards the end.
I misread the title and thought it read "Gast ENDS the Cold War" and in my mind I thought that he made a peace treaty with both the US and Russia

Again, Universe 7 is a really interesting what if scenario and the world building presented in this special was really good. Makes me wonder what's going on back with Goku, since the only defenders of that universe's Earth are him, Gohan and Krilin. What will happen when the Androids show up? Would a Future Trunks appear in this timeline?
Also, here's a bit of trivia: In Universe 16's there would be no Uub, since King Yemma only liked Goku and that allowed Kid Buu to be reborn, but due to Goku not ''existing'' anymore, he doesn't accept Vegito's request of reincarnating Buu.
It's cool, because Cell in this timeline wouldn't have Freeza or King Cold's DNA! So Cell would be drastically different as well!
back when gast is introduced, it's mentioned that he killed "A lizard monster that was threatening the universe"

That was super well done, really appreciating your narrative direction in this series. I loved this chapter. The writers take collab to the next level, especially allowing artists creative freedom to draw in their own style was a very ballsy and smart thing to do.
I head canon the art change for the specials being the native universe’s art lol

@@darkstar2869 I'm from Belgium and I speak french. I'm not interacting a lot with English fandom (or spanish) because I don't speak really good english. But I read all the comments with google trad in every country and I like following how poeple reappropriate my work :)
With Vegeta being so upset about gast being more powerful than him at least he's not getting that little complex like he has with Goku because Goku's a low class Saiyan warrior and Vegeta is a prince so normally should be stronger but since gast being a different species. He doesn't get the Goku button per say LOL
That moment makes me wish this Vegeta accompanied Ghast to the tournament and also took part in it, acting subservient to the Master Namek. It would show significant change from where we leave him here to the tournament, as well as great contrast to not just the other Vegetas, but all other Sayains attending, even the Gohans.
I do realy like Gast story and the art work of this comic.
While this art style may not be the best suited for the actual Dragon Ball series, it's fantastic for a fan manga or story like this. Somewhat similar to a few Star Wars comics, and it has a nice edge of shading and grittiness that works well for the more intense stories. Overall I like the art and I definitely liked reading this special.
The Gast comic style brings something that the Toriyama style just doesn't -- grit.

People keep assuming Cold has a form high than the one he had. He doesn't. If he did, he would have used it against Trunks instead of thinking his SWORD would be enough. Just because his final form looks different than Freeza's, it doesn't mean it isn't his final form.

Funny thing that I thought, after Goku black saga and finding out that the potara fusion it's only permanent if one of the fusion material is a supreme Kai, otherwise it only lasts one hour, I think that the universe 16 in multiverse is one where the potara doesn't have the time limit while the universe 18 does

4:36 I will never understand why fan writers of Dragon Ball content never have Bulma and Chichi fuse to end the Awkwardness of two families. Specifically in “Vegetto being permanent” stories.

Searching for the dragon balls that practically don't exist, the super dragon balls have existed since the start of the universe itself but is unknown throughout, so looking for a method to restore his people is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, the story for Gast is amazing

Its just crazy in how many universes vegeta achieved ssj (U3 ,U4 , U6 , U7, U11, U12 , U13 , U14 , U16 , U17 , U18 , U20) and it's not confirmed if he transformed in the other meaning he may have transformed in the other universes also.
