It doesn't really makes sense that he wasn't; I feel like it was probably actually the brother but he was covering for him. Especially since he didn't voice call either. Like, "I didn't have a phone or web cam, but I bought a really nice video camera to make TH-cam videos, but then also I sold that". Also he said he was using his iPod as a phone, so why couldn't he use skype to voice call her on it then? Also, do they not have a house phone? Does his brother not have a phone/camera he could have borrow? I feel like it either was the brother all along or he really just didn't care that much about her to put in the effort to prove he was real.

@@ms8165 I looked it up and it looks like it is actually the same person? He is on TH-cam (Elijah Prok) and it has the videos they found up to videos from like a week ago and he does look like this guy. I think he just looks different because he was younger in the original pictures/videos.

Throw back to when Catfish Australia contacted me more than once to come on the show and meet someone who I was loosely talking to when they were visiting NZ. He gave me red flags and when he went back to Australia he would send me gifts, the weirdest gift was a knife with his name on it. lmao

Long story short he scared me so much, I told him about someone I met who I fancied and he messaged the guy and their family. it was so embarrassing and he was really manipulative. I knew he was real and he knew I was real he just wanted to meet I guess and I wasnt keen at all because of how he was. I had to block him on everything and he made about 10 facebook and instagram accounts to get my attention. It was so stressful I just wanted him gone and then he bloody contacted catfish ahahaha. This was about 3 years ago now and he messaged me a couple of weeks ago to get the knife back ( my boyf threw it in the river because this guy sent me photos of the knife in his willy lmao )

The statement “everyone has a phone” isn’t a very considerate statement. As someone who lived in near poverty for many years, I did not have a phone until about a year ago. We simply couldn’t afford it. This belief system that everyone has one is one of the biggest reasons why it was so hard for me to make friends. When I would tell them that I couldn’t text them and such because I didn’t have a phone, they wouldn’t believe me. They would think I just wasn’t interested when I was really telling the truth. It was really hurtful. Not everyone has enough money to afford a luxury item like a phone. We could barely afford food at times. Food had to take the priority, and rightfully so.
But this statement is true for the most part. 97% of the population have a cellphone of somekind. Even most low income people have phones.
I hope things are better now Hannah and you're right; having a phone is a luxury and saying 'everyone has a phone' is a pretty classist statement.

Nah. I know women like that because they get to do whatever they want with those types, but that's just not how healthy, confident men move. It's only one of two types that do that:
1) incredibly insecure and scared if they don't let you do whatever you want, they'll lose you
2) doesn't care about you to begin with and is keeping you for a trophy while messing with other women
