Always having to get into gear, just to go to a grocery store, walk around like a robot, sweating like hell in summer, freezing in winter, soaking in rain, being miserable and hated by car drivers around, constantly in danger, having to learn how to rev-downshift, having to f*ck around the lanes to stick in between the cars to not be looked by other motorcyclists as moron that sits in traffic with the cars…
definitely some other reasons to be sure! I will confess, there are days where I think, damnit I wish I had a car..... it's only for a moment though guys I promise!!!!! hahahahaha
Speaking as someone who's been riding continuously for 43 years and seen my fair share of the inside of hospital emergency departments in my younger days, the advice I always give is just ride at an appropriate speed for the environment. No matter how competent you are, people do stupid things so at least if you're riding to the conditions, you may have time to take avoiding actions. I've had three major crashes involving other vehicles that weren't technically my fault, but when I analyze them now, I realise that if I had been riding at more sensible speeds, I'd have avoided all of them. It's not science. It's just common sense and an inflated sense of your own mortality. Riding bikes is dangerous enough as it is without compounding the problems by travelling too fast.
Also, if possible, learn to drive a manual car or truck. I drove a 5 speed manual in my Dakota for 20 years before I even wanted a bike. But that made shifting and getting used to the clutch real quick.
er, so uh, confession, I have no idea how to drive a manual car lol. My parents knew how, but by the time I was around, and ready to drive, they had shifted to automatic for my grandparents lol being around it might have helped? but honestly it was video games haha.
11 years ago i got my first bike I paid for insurance but had no licence, no training, no practice And drove it home 30km in the dark Pakistani friend was like: you don't need anything else just ride it And i did for 3 months until i realised i was driving without a licence Drove that bike for 7 years Got a house, changed jobs, life happens Life is good
Adding a voice over in post production while pasting some random clips from your meme collection over some audio-less helmet cam footage does hardly a compelling youtube video make...
that's why you gotta start riding my guy! that's why you wasted your time here, because you wanna join the loving embrace of the biker community, it's cool my guy you can confess it here! lol

I fully agree my guy. Glad you made it out of your incidents alive!

Such dumb reasons, why did I waste my time watching this lol. As a driver I couldn't relate with 80% of what you said.
It's hard to understand the motorcycle way of things if you don't ride one
