- Opening my old WR account after 2 full years. This is an old account that I had created back in 2016. I had equipped it with old school solid robots back then, and havent used it for years. Im hoping to get some nice free resources as it's obviously not an active account. Let's see what we can piece together with these weapons and robots. I dont even have pilots, drones or Titans. I'd love to see a game mode where you're limited to tier 1-2 bots and equipment. Maybe even no titans, or active modules. Proper Old School, Walking War Robots stuff. It'd be nice to take my Golem out for a spin every now and again.
Same, i'd love to take limited robots out with old weapons and just have fun like old times when there was no crazy battleship, pilot, drone, modules or any of that sort of crazy unnecessary stupid buffs, just pure skill
@@ryans.7485 I suspect it'd also have a lot less lag. With no (or very little) added effects like DOT, or Rust, there's a lot fewer calculations per shot, so the entire game should run more smoothly.
What level were you in this account?
I've been playing with people in groups where there is Camelot or Ninjitsu rules where you are limited to what you can use. It brings the game back to the old days how it used to be played

Watching this video brings back memories. Those were the good old days. No shield ,no stealth, no mothership .no pilot skills just plain fun
When stealth did come it wasn't that bad with stalker and pursuer but now it's like stealth every 5 seconds
I'd love to see more of this baby account. Maybe you could use this as a F2P hangar and use it as an example to new players on what to upgrade and go for!

Im in the champion league with 2 meta robots but I have no powercells. All I can really do now is save up powercells from the daily spin & use them in situations that'll be fun or that I can escape from

Great vid, be good to see the journey. Be intresting as you get to silver and gold how the buffs to older weapons work. Such as Cryo, Skadi, Hussar, Igniter, scald,sting, spark, viper and zenit. Look fwd to more content. I might get a new account just to experience this again.
no point really, after level 20 or so youll be facing people with ophions, lynx, fenrir, scorpions, rooks aswell sometimes, hell i faced 2 ochos in gold league, thats just bad matchmaking

Personally, I'd love to see more of this content. Lately, I've been playing games with groups of people with "Camelot" or "Ninjitsu" rules. Crazy fun for the OG's of WR. It makes the game fun again where it's based off skill and not some superbot with crazy Dim Mak (Death Touch) superpowers. Keep up the great work Pred. MAKE WR GREAT AGAIN lol
Tarans were a pleasure to use, the sound they made while firing, the fact that you actually required skill to properly use them and the not-so outrageous damage they dealt.
When i came back to game last summer from being gone for 3 years i dropped from champion league to silver 1 the only thing that I had few pilots because they had just started coming out with them . No Titan , no drone's, no new anything. It was hard struggle back to champ league. With all the extra high upgrade cost and extremely long upgrade time's and getting 45% less silver from each battle/ match. Sucked Azz . I left back then because it was getting bad and now it's 50 times worse...

My suggestion, try to just fund the account with say, 300million - 1billion silver, 30,000 gold and 10,000 platinum. Then try building up only classic good old weapons and robots and titans on this account, no new broken stuffs, just the organic old robots.

Actually, long time ago when i played war robots on android (my oldest account that i lost), they used to give resources for being inactive for a long time, but it seems that they removed that. The latest robot i think was the falcon at that time.

I still have both of my Griffins from those days. One with the shark skin and the other with the Raven skin. One is a DB and the other is an RDB (Tulumbas and Pins). I used to switch between the RDB set up and the plasma set up.

you'll be happy if you can even spawn in a gareth without getting absolutely destroyed in your own spawn, and I tried bringing a baby account up to higher levels but the matchmaking is so terrible I stopped playing with that account. But it is very fun for the first 10-15 levels, so I highly recommend you starting a baby account to experience the good old days

You can actually max out an mk3 hangar before ever even entering a battle. You can start out from 0 trophies and you’ll get a good 200-300 wins before you meet robots capable of matching you.
How so? By paying for it?

Most in the lower levels use the scorpion they got from the gift. I have a one-month baby account in the Diamond League, and I enjoy the games there more than I do when playing my main in the Champions. Less OP bots, but it's surprising and frustrating to see those Ocho and Newtons in the Gold League. I wonder why they are even at that level.
