You take whole milk, heat it to a boil, then add lemon juice, stir a minute, remove from heat and strain with cheese cloth. You end up with curd. It is like a soft cheese. You throw away the liquid.[maybe they used to use the whey, but I don't know what for.] We made curd burgers. They were delicious! GBU!!!
MartinFamily No. But I have made Kurd. It makes an awesome sandwich, with lettuce, tomato. I've made Lassi. It's like kefer. Just take some yogurt, add milk, and blend. Maybe add a little ice. I love it.
