The office of a Pastor and his wife is a sacrificial one, it is not for everyone. The problem is that everyone is now a Pastor!

Hypocrisy is rife with all men. But for many, especially those of us who claims to be Christians, it is very easy to entertain/amuse ourselves with anything that has to do with Jesus, the Church and the Christian religious leaders and their personal lives. We can berated, laugh at and criticize them without any fear. Yet, we never do such with other religions because we know the repercussions will be serious - at least right away.
But, we will give account for every idle word we utter on the judgement day. It's self deception to assume our fundamental human right to speech absolves us from accountability with man and eventually with God.
Truth be told: it's a challenge to be true to our faith especially in public space and please men concurrently. We all fear the "cancel culture" prevalent today - so we just adjust to popular opinions.
We sure need mercy.

However, on the issue of change, your environment has an influence on your perspective in life. I've always said our forefathers are the greatest scientists that ever lived, check out all their hypothesis through proverbs, adages etc, eni ti o ba ti ri oko baba e lomiran a ro pe ti baba oun lo tobi ju. if you have not ventured out of your environ you're limited in your outlook so when you travel there's also a cultural shift in terms of what is allowed, so to me it's not necessarily hypocrisy but a change in lifestyle based on what is acceptable in your environment that you have to adapt to in order one to be comfortable 2 to fit in as long as it does not compromise your faith.

Bcee is extremely smart and usually has great points but too hard headed. If she could tone down a little and give chance. But let's also remember at the beginning of the show Bcee started by saying she did not have the best weekend and did not wish to share. Lagos stress also affects public figures👍 presenters.
Who put the pressure on the pastor's wife? The Pastor? The Christian body or the people (congregation) I think they are the one's who put most of the pressure on themselves and on the church. Be yourself, and live your life accordingly.

Female pastor/ pastor's wife dey wear short and she is hot. In otherwords sexy and not modesty. The heart thing sha 😊. Towards the end of time the world will enter the church and the church will enter in the world. It is happening progressively. Covering of hair by women is in the new testament ooo but we will interprete it to mean another thing. We always compare ourselves to the Western world where gay and naked beach is a norm but we will not study the Jews (in Israel the origin of Christianity)to see how their women dress to church or the synagogue. You will never see a muslim lady no matter how rich or modern or how western or in the Western world enter a mosque without covering her hair to pray.

Covering of hair is a cultural thing. It was peculiar to the Corinthian church. You choose a bible verse that suit you but forget other parts.

Is it that the hair is too expensive to cover or she wants to show off her expensive and beautiful hair for all to see? She can get a beautiful hat and She can show her hair off after service. Covering of hair is not a cultural thing. It is biblical and it is God's command. You will never see pastor Adeboye's or Oyedepo's wife leave their hairs uncovered in church. I hear of classic (what you now call old school) and modern Redeem (westernised Redeem). we are the ones modernising Christian to suit ourselves, fit our lust for the world and mostly for increasing church population then we say the church is for the sick but we don't treat them. I don't see this as strange because last last the prophecy says the world will enter the church and the church will enter the world.
