You didn't cover the tricky bit which is reinstating the grey plastic holder...which is how the wires were damaged....very difficult to get it back in position

Yes, it is hard to take it out, and I broke the wires when trying to put it back. Thanks to the complicated German design, make a simple bulb change cost $100. That's how they keep the dealer busy and market thenself superior engineering, purposely make small jobs big.
If it makes you feel any better i dropped a bulb into the assembly. So when you get behind me you can see it rolling around inside of it...lmao Im sick of messing with it anymore. Too much money..lol

You can check the voltage at the socket see if it is about 12V.
If no power, then check the fuse and the wiring.
The whole black panel holding all the bulbs comes out and you change the bulbs from the other side....no need to take the bulb holders out

Mine was just broke off in the inside lol. It isn't that bad doing repairs tho
