Hwarang || "My Best Rival is My Best Friend"

1. Do Ji Han as Park Ban Ryu (박반류).
Do Ji Han's role in Hwarang is Silla's most powerful person Park Young Shil's son, who is handsome, competitive, intelligent and has a strong ego. He is cold blooded jin-gol who falls in love with his rival's sister and resembles "Romeo and Juliet" but in the Silla Version.
2. Choi Min Ho as Kim Soo Ho (김수호) a jin-gol aristocrat born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Hot-blooded and chivalrous, he aces in swordplay and is seen as a shameless playboy but is devoted in love. Kim Soo Yeon's overprotective brother.
Soo Ho is very likeable and Ban Ryu is very stoic and straight faced, but I like Ban Ryu more because he's so intense and deep down has a beautiful heart, and he just needed time to open up a bit, and when he does it makes my heart swell, especially when he interacts with Soo Yeon.
Coming from different aristocratic families, Ban Ryu and Soo Ho spent many episodes fighting, both with spiteful comments and even with swords.
Ban Ryu and Soo Ho’s little feud continued throughout many episodes of Hwarang, but eventually the two hard-headed characters grew fond of one another!
Even though they considered each-other enemies since childhood, Ban Ryu and Soo Ho still looked out for one another and took a chance to grow closer - and despite their bickering, they became best friends.
Putting aside their differences and family dramas, these two characters became especially loyal to each-other and their other friends they made along the way!
