Considering the engineering going into that heat generator power plant I don't think you'd have that much trouble with an ethylene generator should you need more power in the future. To run one of those you grow plants using any farming method (eg: potato in a garden cloche is an easy self-contained option), feed it into a crusher to make biofuel, then feed that to a Pressurized Reaction Chamber. On the other side of the PRC you have an electrolytic separator feeding it hydrogen. The PRC takes biofuel + hydrogen and produces ethylene gas you burn in a gas-burning generator. The PRC also makes substrate which will be useful later, so you'd probably want a void upgraded drawer to hold a supply of that. The biggest challenge with the gas generator setup is just piping everything around since you need to move a few different item types, two gasses and three of the machines need water. Fortunately EnderIO's ability to combine conduits in in the same blockspace makes that much easier.
I've noted down that for the ethylene gas burner. As it is a quest item I do plan on using it. But, for now I think this set up suits me. Once I get a few more things going (I have in my head a way to make ender stone on a slow burn like I do with soulsand.) I will start to set up wireless, or close to, energy and item gathering. If possible. I know LaserIO isn't here, nor is Flux, so those are off the table but I think there is other options for wireless or near so, power.
@@fadepanther6224 LaserIO is a thing in this pack, but the crafting recipes are much more complicated than normal. Should be doable at your level of progression currently, although without an autocrafting setup you'd definitely want to make the components in batches instead of on-demand.

@xenonkay I forgot to look into the LaserIO for the 17th episode. But, that is something I should get into learning to make I think.
