I love this game. Ill never forget when I was a kid and I stayed up late playing it and got that spooky nightmare sequence when it was like 2 am irl. That scared the crap out of me and I couldnt sleep. That Bridgitte song randomly gets stuck in my head to this day.
8 yr old me was so frustrated by this game! No task list, all the puzzles, I got so lost!! The only Nancy Drew game that took me like 4 years to finish. I finally went back when I got a bit older and finished it. It was one of my favorites, but I remember getting so mad at this one. Little me was over it 😅 Watching the play through was fun, very nostalgic.
1:15:00 goodness the chaos of you, Nancy, Ethel, and me shrieking simultaneously with Lulu squawking about Felicity getting the door is very… appropriate for this game 😂
If there's some CD era computer game hall of fame out there, Curse of Blackmoor Manor needs to be added immediately. Freaking magnum opus of the series
this game and secret of shadow ranch are often two of peoples favorite nancy drews in terms of gameplay, and it really strongly shows two different mystery play styles... this game is really puzzle heavy, and shadow ranch is really chore heavy.
I tend to like the chore games more than puzzle games…I think the moving room puzzle took like 10 years off my life the first time I played this 😅 that said, this game had a great spooky environment.

Lukas and Jane are both absolutley adorable and I think seeing them make games together could be really neat

Funny how Secret of the Old Clock, Curse of Blackmoor Manor, and Secret of Shadow Ranch all have characters named Jane.
I missed out on the livestream for this one, but such a fun game! :) Will always be one of my top faves to play/watch.
