god. i was thinking about this song other day and i couldn’t remember the title or the singer’s name. by sheer luck i came across a photographer’s website in which she had a 2014 article about him. funny thing because the piece i was reading i first place was about fisher’s depressive hedonia and it was precisely reading his previous insights on music that reminded me of the suspension and the almost casual hopelessness hearing this song (especially slowed) provoked me. even under all this pretense the coincidence felt nice, made things feel a little bit special.
