@@Tryxoniehe still has a slight mind of his own, really you cant make something trully hollow as then it wouldnt do anything, to contain the radiance it probably still needed a thing to corrupt, the rest is hollow so it dosent escape, like Minecraft skyblock, you cant go beyond the void and there still needs to be a couple blocks for you to physically be there
The Pure Vessel was not truly hollow because he had an idea instilled, a wish to please his father and fulfill his purpose. That little hint of duty and emotion was enough for the Radiance to take hold in his mind.

And worst of all, Lil Ghost aint hollow
