BTS Creative director was asked to pick the trainee with the most potential to go to the U.S, and he picked Jungkook. Jungkook doesnt get praised enough for his dancing skills. Hard work and talent got him where he is today.
Butter era Jungkook is iconic. He went viral so often as "the guy with purple hair" and for his amazing vocals during live performances! He really shines and owns this era in my opinion. You know a song is going to be a hit when Jungkook is the intro! I will never not be amazed by his 6 notes vocal run that he did in under 1 second 🤍

hobi isn't even my bias but I love when I see people start to realize just how talented he is! When most people first get into bts, jhope tends to stand out much more for his personality so it takes a bit to notice his amazing skills so I love that process when new army's slowly learn that! :) (what comes after is also just realizing what a pure soul he has bc even though every one sees him as bright and bubbly, most don't notice just how much he cares for the members but that's another topic lol)

Jin has recently had emergency hand surgery, JHope arrived in the states days after the others because he had COVID, Jungkook had been quarantined in his hotel room due to COVID as well. They had 1 day to rehearse before the live performance. They showed the world how the Grammys are still westerncentric. It may be the best Grammy performance I’ve ever seen.

maybe it's because you haven't watched many videos of them dancing/performing that you're really surprised by hobi but he's literally been known for his dancing and stage presence even before joining bts, he's the dance leader for a reason.. not only is he an insane dancer but also has a lot of input in their stage direction, even when it's not a performance. a clip that comes to mind is him organizing the members and the order and direction they should walk in when they were in the white house to give their speech

JHope and Jimin are both fluid in their dance but JHope is more like syrup, literally smooth liquid, and Jimin is more like feathers floating on the wind. Also, for two rappers that didn’t want to dance, RM and Suga are certainly feeling themselves in this and many other dance moves, especially the body/hip rolls😂! Their origin story is wild. If I am remembering correctly…. - JHope made it into the trainee program based on his dance skills. He won a big competition that put him on the radar. He learned to rap to make it into a group. - Jin got noticed on a sidewalk when he was with his father. A lady ran up and gave him a card. He originally got into the program based on his looks - he could sing but needed training. He did well and made it. He has to work very hard on his dance skills that he doesn’t actually call dancing, but more “body movements”. 😂 - Jimin was a modern dance guy who had vocal and dance ability. - Jungkook was 13 and had such a baby face. Amazing vocalist and dancer. - RM was the first one picked and he was the reason Jungkook wanted to come to that particular program as JK had other offers, but idolized RM. - Suga was an underground rapper and amazingly fast. He was convinced to join the group and was told he wouldn’t have to dance that much 😂😂😂 - and V. V was from a fairly poor farming town and tagged along to the auditions with a friend. I think at that time he wanted to play the saxophone and maybe be an actor. The casting people saw V and asked him to audition even though he wasn’t registered. He was the only one picked from those auditions.

Their origin story is wild. If I am remembering correctly….
- JHope made it into the trainee program based on his dance skills. He won a big competition that put him on the radar. He learned to rap to make it into a group.
- Jin got noticed on a sidewalk when he was with his father. A lady ran up and gave him a card. He originally got into the program based on his looks - he could sing but needed training. He did well and made it. He has to work very hard on his dance skills that he doesn’t actually call dancing, but more “body movements”. 😂
- Jimin was a modern dance guy who had vocal and dance ability.
- Jungkook was 13 and had such a baby face. Amazing vocalist and dancer.
- RM was the first one picked and he was the reason Jungkook wanted to come to that particular program as JK had other offers, but idolized RM.
- Suga was an underground rapper and amazingly fast. He was convinced to join the group and was told he wouldn’t have to dance that much 😂😂😂
- and V. V was from a fairly poor farming town and tagged along to the auditions with a friend. I think at that time he wanted to play the saxophone and maybe be an actor. The casting people saw V and asked him to audition even though he wasn’t registered. He was the only one picked from those auditions.
