Of a Rex has experienced fighting against a bulk triceratop (adult one) it will be aware where to expose the weak spots since the bite force of the Rex was proven to smash a car and the teeth were known to treat off the flesh and damage bones. I feel like if a trex felt like it wasn't in a good position it would simply go for another meal . predators have the advantage of choosing what to hunt . so I think if the rex wasn't in a good position it wouldn't just run head on to a triceratops and get gored . ambush is key in succesful hunting . there's also been fossil evidence of both of these guys hurting or even killing eachother . so they were probably both very much capable to win depending on how the fight goes

A tyrannosaurus rex would not charge a full-grown buck triceratops head-on. The tyrannosaurus probably or most likely would not jack with a triceratops unless it was starving or the triceratops was young, sick, or old.
