DCD at their peak!I saw many shows since 2005 and while they were magical, to me this was really their annus mirabilis, top line-up, top instrumentation and Lisa in top vocal form. So glad that this recording exists and captured this miracle
Of course they are also superb here but I think their live peak (and on record ) was around the period 1985 /90 starting with Spleen and ideal (1985) and finishing with Aion (1990) Those who got to see them live in this period were very fortunate indeed.
@@hankb5996 I like all their albums . But for me Spleen and Ideal, Within the realm of a dying sun and Aion represent their best music. Interesting in their live shows of recent years they have mainly played the songs from those great albums.

I am obsessed with the Greek Rembetiki Song at 47:47. This is the only version of it that I’ve been able to find. If anyone has found a better quality audio, please let me know!
Do you have any video of the Host of Seraphim performed live from this period or earlier? The earlier I could find was a performance from 2007 I think, in Milan. Would love to watch Lisa perform that at this period...
