I would like a band to re-record the entire Beatles catalog, with subtly updated bass, drums, and dynamics. The hard part would be finding 4 guys with a proper understanding and intuition for the music. It doesn't need to be changed, just freshened. Like this.
There’s nothing wrong with the originals. The super slick and modern recordings of these songs are just soulless and sound like they should be in a commercial for mattresses
I am a die hard fan of THIS ERA of The Beatles. I could care less about everything after Rubber Soul! Ok, Sgt Pepper was a great album on its own but the psychedelic drug addled songs I can do without! Everyone says Paul died even nowv60 years layer! IMHO they ALL died after Rubber Soul. The last remaining remnant was Day Tripper. Paperback Writer was a single only. THIS was fun music, not drippy girls music. I love how you use different brands of guitars versus the Beatles. Kudos to the bass player who opted NOT to use the Hofner bass. There's more brightness in the Rickenbacker that Paul didn't use until Sgt.Pepper and with Wings! It did trick my eyes as Lennon played the Rick in this era, but this is a bass in same color scheme as John's 325 Rick. The rhythm guitar appears to be a Les Paul. The jangle of the Rickebacher is distinct in this song era. But the lack gives the song a harder rock feel. Great job!! You should do a makeover for the entire early Beatles catalog. JUST STOP at Rubber Soul please! There is a plethora of tribute bands that do everything from Revolver to Let it Be. You are doing the material that brought the Beatles to fame/ stardom and the Beatlemania craze! IMHO the BEST of their music !!
No, we don’t think they have. We write, record and perform our own original material, we just felt inclined to do an arrangement of this classic last year, because we love it. Thanks for the comment 🙏
I disagree about the guitar. George's was mixed down while the jangle of John's Rickenbacker ( which I have always loved) is what really cuts through. I am so accustomed to John's harmonica fill being there, that I still expect it here and its clearly missing!! The original version still sounds fresh after 60 years! But hearing this version which is true to the original, sounds like BOTH versions were recorded a week ago!! The modern recording electronics play a huge role here, yet no autotune, or other artificial effects are heard. What IS MISSING is the over used reverb the Beatles had in their early recordings! That and the harmonica are the 2 major things I picked up on. The harmony is also much tighter without sounding autotuned or electronic harmonized. Excellent job gentlemen!! BTW George played a Gretsch countryman in the early days, but the sound was very midrangey to me. In later years he used a Gibson SG, Fender Strat, Epiphone Casino, that I know of.
What a refreshing and kick ass cover
Thank you so much! We did our best to straddle the line of making it our own and staying true to the original
I'm a Lancastrian and a Beatles Fan, Love it - great version❣🌹

My goal! Check me out!
Awful idea!
There’s nothing wrong with the originals. The super slick and modern recordings of these songs are just soulless and sound like they should be in a commercial for mattresses
This didn't need to happen
The Wonders have returned.

Lo siento mucho, soy un Beatles fans, esa versión esta muy rápida, nada comparada ni cerca de la ejecutada por Los Beatles
I think John would have liked this version.

Oh yeah Great energy!!!❤
Thank you 🤘
Captures the energy of the REAL BEATLES!!!
Have all the songs been written? Anyone with minimal talent can play a cover. Not a bad version, though not an easy song to butcher.
No, we don’t think they have. We write, record and perform our own original material, we just felt inclined to do an arrangement of this classic last year, because we love it. Thanks for the comment 🙏
Great!!!
Thank you 🤘
A bit too fast. Otherwise perfect.
Thank you!
Young blood.....🎸🎸🥁🎹🎵🎶🎶🎶🎵🆗👍
🤘
Great version , George 's vintage guitar sound
Is far superior, but these guys score with their
enthusiasm. Nice modern twist 👍

Love it!!! But I prefer the original
Thank you, glad you liked our version! The Beatles are the greatest!
@@RebelKicksMusic No problem, it's just good to see The Beatles being appreciated as they should be
Too fast and the rift was not done with a base guitar, it was the lead guitar which sounds better.
Excellent! Better than the Beatles version!
Better rendition than the Souse mob.
This kicks a$$!
Thank you so much!
Q mal baterista
Очень красивая версия! Аплодирую стоя!!
Thank you so much!
Mmmmm paso
🤘
sorry the Beatles did it better
yea 100%
The beatles did 99% of their stuff better than anyone that has ever tried to do cover versions.
Of course, nothing to be sorry about, The Beatles are the greatest! Thanks for the comment, cheers 🙏
This is utterly terrible.
Hammer 👍
Thanks!
