As a Pittsburgh native and Steelers fan im debating getting these to pair with the OG Pollens I have. I prefer the Bred color blocking on the Pollens but these are very very nice

I got a pair recently (today actually) and i must say, they actually look wayyyyy better in person. idk if its just Stockx or the picture but the yellow looked a lot more orange then it actually is. I love this shoe tho and im not kidding when i say i think that this is actually my favourite jordan 1 now

I would definitely like to see a video review on the OW 5’s. I had them and then sold them. To me they seemed very narrow on my feet compared to regular 5’s and they weren’t all that comfortable to me, also I needed the money, so, that’s that. Do I regret selling my OW 5’s? No. I find that usually when I am able to get my hands on these pairs that are highly anticipated or go for a lot on the resale market, that once I wore them once I got it out of my system, then I sell them and make a profit. Also, and I’m sure many may not share my same sentiment (but some might), there’s something about going to a sneaker store in person, holding the shoe in hand and putting on the shoe before you buy it. I prefer that over ordering online and waiting for the sneaker and not knowing how it’s going to look or feel or if it will have variants to the materials and build of the shoe, although you paid good money for it (which I have sadly experienced several times when ordering Jordan 1’s and recently with the 2/3’s). And so, I personally get a great thrill out of going to outlet malls and walking around and trying on sneakers at the outlet stores (Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Converse) and coming up on sneakers at a reduced price and with a discount price to boot. I usually go when the additional discount prices are at 50% off or above. If I do buy online especially with Nike, I wait till the promo codes is at 25 or 30% discount on top of reduced prices. Like with these 1’s. The 25% promo “EXTRA25” applies to these and the Black and White 1’s which I bought and once I had them in hand saw that the materials weren’t so great and although the colorway is great the materials used weren’t and I returned them back to Nike. I have the Yellow Ochre 1’s in my cart with the $45 reduction applied which comes out to $143.78 as opposed to the $191 price I paid for the Black and Whites. Again, the 25% promo code can be applied to the B&W’s also now. In case anyone wants them. Chris/Jodie what are your thoughts towards shopping at the sneaker outlet stores and being able to save more and feel the sneakers in hand and trying them on before you buy?
Now that you're saying it they probably are focus on yellow in the beginning of this year, just like they focused a lot on Green last year (Lucky Green, Pine Green, ...) would love to know how they decide which color they're choosing each year and why 🤔
There's a rumored release this year of the 13s having some accents a bit yellowish on the outsole with midnight navy. Probably not quite, but if it does release, I'm going after that one!
Hello Chris and Jodie. I’ve noticed on several video reviews that usually Jordans come with terrible insoles and you always suggest the “Move All Day” insoles. I looked them up and they’re expensive ($49.99) is the price I kept on seeing. I’m not sure what demographic watches your videos and who could afford those insoles to replace crappy insoles in the lot of their Jordan collection which is already expensive and costs a lot of money, but with that said I have a couple of questions I hope you will answer. First one, since you say you usually stick with one shoe and wear them out, how long do those insoles (the only ones you recommend) last you before they need to be replaced? Second question, could those insoles be swapped from shoe-to-shoe? Third question, could you recommend a more affordable insole that is also good quality? I just started following your podcast. Look forward to listening to it while I’m driving. Thank you for taking the time to do these sneaker reviews with your wife and for being honest about material, build, comfort and of course the quality of insoles that the sneaker originally comes with. I can’t say my next words are fit for a question of the day, but I wondered apart from comics and those X-men series you’ve enjoyed watching, were you ever into trading cards (baseball, basketball, etc..)
