This is the most decent, yet sensuous and beautiful style of saree draping I've come across in TH-cam in my desperate search for how -tos.
And thank you for keeping your modesty Vithya, as a younger girl you are very inspiring that way. I can actually share your video with all my friends, and aunties who need help, without drawing cringe worthy looks.
I love my South silks and don't want to look either like a harlot nor like a elderly woman, and this decent style is perfect.

Thank you thank you for posting this tutorial, this is exactly what I have been looking for!! I am getting engaged next month and for my engagement pooja and the mandir, my (future) in-laws bought me a saree. I am Punjabi so I have hardly worn a saree ever and most time I did I had someone to help me. This time, I do not. I will practice with this tutorial and hopefully my saree doesnt fall off lol. Wish me luck guys!! :)

The best tutorial thus far! You're gorgeous girl! I personally am not a fan of forest green but it looks wonderful on you. And I love silk sarees, not a fan of stone work ones and its hard to find good silk saree tutorials so this is exactly what I was looking for. :)

The best saree draping video i must say! Especially that part where the pallu goes round the waist...everyone usually has it with an odd tuck near teh pleats but yours is perfectly right and looks as if it emerges from behind teh pleats! Thanks! :)

Best saree draping clip I've seen so far. One thing you forgot to mention is how long should the pallu drop. should it go to the floor or just below the back of the knee?
It depends on your height hun, if you are short then it can go to the floor, if you are tall then shorter

I *love* that green saree! The color is so rich, and the gold border sets it off quite nicely.
Thank you for the detailed explanation about the pleats and how you wrap the side--I have watched about a dozen tutorials and yours is the first to tell me where those should be placed, where extra pins can be places and how the border should sit at your hip. I feel like the next time I wear my saree it will look so much better!
