1. IDBI is a semi-private bank. More than 90% of stake is owned by GOI and LIC together. It is in the process of being fully privatized. However, there is a possibility that it may also be merged with a Public Sector Bank. 2. In-hand salary for JAM would be in the range of approx 35-45k. Also, the perks offered to other officers may not be given since the salary is not in accordance with IBA structure. 3. Regarding the reimbursement, there is a clause that you have to have atleast PG-3 rating in those 3 years of service for being eligible. 4. Fast track promotion has been done away with. You may require more than 3 years for promotion. 5. Your work profile will include sales and marketing. You will have to sell LIC policies and source Accounts. 6. Also, despite its drawbacks, it is definitely better than private banks.

I have had disputes with my branch head both inside and outside office premises. 3) In my region, where I was posted, it was the only bank that typically closed last, often after 9 PM, while other banks and NBFCs would close by 7 or 8 PM. 4) Only a few people know about this bank. Many times, when I mention it to others, I feel embarrassed because it's unknown to about 99% of them. 5) They've raised the minimum account opening amount to 10,000 INR in urban branches, which is completely unreasonable! I clearly remember opening my account with a minimum of 500 INR just a year ago, which seemed fair, but 10,000 INR is absurd, especially given the poor service. 6) Late working hours, backb!tching, and personal remarks are normalized as if they’re nothing. 7) If you’re thinking of studying for a better job in another field, forget it, as your branch head will call you in for work on Sundays and holidays as well. 8) The employees' union was dissolved after the bank was privatized, so there's no hope from them either. 9) Personally, when I had an exam the next day, my branch head would make excuses like, “Oh, you can’t go because the Regional Head is visiting tomorrow-bad luck,” or “I can’t grant you leave because we have so much work tomorrow.” 10) Even after doing all the chores and overtime, you won't be appreciated/recognized, rather the seniors will pull your legs as and when possible. 11) When everyone in your team will get hike (of 15% - 20%) and they won't even raise a single penny of yours, cuz Oh you're an exe... you have a fixed salary for the whole year na..." But jab kaam karwana ho "you need to outperform your job profile, you need to learn this, and that... and what not!" how ironic!
I am posted in urban branch...Moradabad up ..my all work usually gets completed till 5:30 after that i try to get out from my branch as soon as my som leaves branch i also leaves by 6:20/6:30
bhai, im telling you iss bank m aaowgey toh leaves sbb bhool jaao, they will even call you on Saturdays / Sundays to do work. Agar tumhara kaam nahi hoga toh apney kaam k liye bulayenge, but bulayenge zaroor!

Uske baad me kisi vi time nikal sakta hu..bcs my colleagues are very friendly.. specially my SOM.. But me Naya Kam sikhta hu..help karta hu..chaho to wahi par study vi kar sakte ho..nobody interrupt you..uske baad 6 or 6.30 me Ghar chala jatahu..

Sbi clerk posted in semi urban..5.30-6 max seating time if work is pending otherwise 5-5.15 pm easily..no officer can tell to stay after 4.45 pm
