Ahoms are the reason why Mughals couldn't invade Assam and North-East India. FYI: If you visit Guwahati, you'll see the place where the Battle of Saraighat took place. Also there's a beautiful statue of Lachit Borphukan and Ahom army in the middle of Brahmaputra river.
The people of Changmai were basically the Royal Chefs of the Ahom kings, as no one else was allowed to prepare food for the king during that time. And just want to clarify that maidams are not equivalent to kabaristan; they hold a distinct identity and significance. And and the Mughals were never able to reach Sibsagar, let alone the Ahom palaces. Their advance was decisively halted by Ahom Commander Lachit Borphukan near Guwahati, at the site of the Saraighat Bridge. Furthermore, the entrances to each palace were designed to be short as a strategic measure, ensuring that if enemies infiltrated, wouldn’t be able to escape easily.
The first Ahom king Su-Ka-Pha was entered North East from Mung Mao of China (now this is called Huili in China, a border territory near Myanmar) by crossing the mountain ranges of Patkai. Actually according to a tale of China, the name of the nation comes from the Mao community in China, where mentioned about the birth of Maos. According to this, the Ahoms was a part of the Mao community. They've gifted many weapons and a umbrella from Maodon (god and ancestors of that community). Now you can see the umbrella in every chinese movies or reels). The king Su-Ka-Pha's mother was a princess of Mao dynasty and His father was a king of an aother dynasty. But the Uncle of Su-Ka-Pha had no child. That's why Su-Ka-Pha became the king of Mung Mao. But after many years later a child was born in this dynasty. So his grandmother has said Su-Ka-Pha that "two tigers can never survive in one jungle". It means there will be one king. So Su-Ka-Pha leaved this place with his followers and queens with some weapons. After crossing the Patkai mountain they beat the "Headhunters Nagas". After almost 19 years of leaving Mung Mao Su--Ka-Pha established his Kingdom in Charaideu. According to an another roumers that the Ahoms and Mans of Burma was twins. Most probably Su-Ka-Pha's father was a king of Burma (now it's called Myanmar). That's why Badan Borphukan welcomed Mans into Assam to restablise the kingdom again. The Ahoms defeated Mughals 17 times continuously. In a history book I found that the commander of Mughals Turbok Khan's head was burried into moidam's ground that everyone can walk on it. I've never heard about anyone that fighting during suffering illness like Lachit Borphukan deafending the territory against thousands of warriors of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. That was the Mighty Ahoms.
Thanks for your Visit bhai... It was a great day we had spent yesterday ... Our best wishes to you for all your upcoming journeys... Hope all mighty give you strength and power to achieve all your dreams in your life ... Hope we meet someday somewhere once again 🤝🤘👍❤️
The word "moidam" comes from the Tai words phrang-mai-dam or mai-tam, where phrang-mai means "to put into the grave" or "to bury" and dam means "the spirit of the dead" Moidams are burial mounds built by the Tai-Ahom people of Assam, India to inter their kings, queens, and nobles
Actually bht se dynasties ka palace, sculptures & monuments destroyed hogaya. Burmese invasions bht times huwa, aur mass level pe destruction huwa tha, Maan Xena (Burmese Kingdom) & logon ke dwaara. Jisme Manipur Kingdom (Kanglepak) ne allied bannkar help kiya tha, but Ahom kingdom ke hi ek province ke Governor ne political reason se betrayed kiya, aur Burmese logon ko secret informations milne kaaran bht andar tak aakar mass destruction kiya. Tabhi Britishers ke saath Treaty of Yandaboo sign huwa, aur Ahom kingdom & Manipur Kingdom ka dark ages shuru hone lagg gaya tha, invincible northeast mei Britishers ki entry ho gayi tab.
