Thank you so much for this walkthrough!! I've never flown alone before- and although I navigated through KEF when I landed here, it was the middle of August so it was a bit of a madhouse. Definitely got lost a few times just trying to leave! I've been feeling really unsure about the whole check in/boarding process as it gets closer to my departure date, but this is making me feel a lot better about it all. thankyou thankyou thankyou !!
@@luhbrookswhen landing into the US for a connection it's ALWAYS a baggage recheck. sometimes (rarely) you'll be lucky enough to have a separate security check for connecting passengers only but you WILL be collecting your bags and reclearing security. Which airport were you planning to connect through, I'll see if I can find out what the situation is.
@bozy106 I notice an potential legal issue at 4:04 and 4:12 into this video. Video recording in a area where it is prohibited(markings on the pillars around the screening points), as well as posting a photo that your not permitted to use.

When you arrived in the US did you have to go through customs again?
