Was the previous girlfriend not considered worthy of complimentary adjectives too? Was her darker hue in comparison to the current one seen as a deterrent to similar phrasing in reference to herself?

I am of light complexion but my daughter is dark skin, it pissed me off of the ignorance she still of to overcome, you would think 2018 we would be pass that. This is why skin bleaching is so popular in our community😥 A little dark skin girl is going to see that and immediately feel inferior. All I can say is this "new" dancehall music is too much like "rap crap!" I loved the original reggae artists and saw most of them in concert in the 1970s and 80s--Jimmy Cliff (my favorite), 3rd World, Yellowman, Peter Tosh (RIP), etc. Sadly I could not see Bob Marley--he never got close to my state with his concerts. Also love Steele Pulse, Burning Spear, Black Uhuru, and UB40! UB40 is British I know--but pure reggae music! And Sly & Robbie. Also in MN there was Shangoya and Ipso Facto--both great local reggae bands! There will never be bands that will surpass these reggae legends!
