This collection marks the Diamond Jubilee celebrations with a wealth of rare royal films made between 1954 and 1971. As the government's publicity agency, the COI was the natural choice to produce the 'official' record of royal tours and state visits during the post-war period. This extract from 'Sierra Leone Greets the Queen' details the royal party's arrival in the capital city Freetown.

michael williams I was wondering that as well. I don’t think so sadly and this bothers me a lot especially with their fake smiles. We will always be oppressed by western corruption. Stealing treasures from peoples land and claiming it’s there’s when it’s not.

do you have much footage of the corgi's ? dogs chewing priceless antiques , biting and tripping up soliders and state visitors.......i'm afraid it appeals to my warped sense of humour and love of dogs !
