Matt, Great round. I know what you mean about making bogies on the later holes, don't want to mess up a good round. Loved how you talked us through each shot. When I play new courses, it's always good to try to think your way around the course instead of just blasting away. I agree as well on the putt with the fan blowing. It did look as if that was going in the hole until the gust of wind pushed it left. Great video and once again, "Welcome to Georgia"
Mr. Short Game struggles in new course End at Par 72 I play the same course for 100th time End up +19 😂😂😂 There will be light at the end of the fairway Love these vlogs Do more in the future
Appreciate your content Matt. I started back golfing after 2 years and found your videos in June. Huge improvement on short game. Entered first Amateur tourney over the weekend. 10 handicap. Your content helped me to a 36 hole 1 over net and a first place finish. Your tips helped me have 8 up and downs day one . Thanks
Really like this format. Great to see the sunshine. It's raining cats and big dogs here in Scotland but hopefully it''ll be fine for my next game. Thanks again. Paul
Great video and even better round! I love the commentary rolling through the video showing your mind set and thought process. It’s easy to ditch the “plan” when out on the course and that could lead to some horrible numbers out there but you stayed true to your strengths and ended up with a beautiful score on the day.
Appreciate the commentary of working your way through the golf course. This is something you rarely get a chance to do with a pro and also costs a fortune for a playing lesson.
Good round and a nice course. There's a lot of good golf courses in that part of Georgia. I've played many of them and some of the finer private courses around Atlanta through the AGA Tour. Good stuff. I'm in Blue Ridge, Ga.
Great vids Matt - really helpful to see how a good golfer navigates his way around the course. My brother used to live in the house on the right of the 18th green - that's not an easy course!
Great one. I was paying careful attention to your tempo especially when you said you were trying different shots. Great for me to have that picture in my head of how it should be done, as I try improve my own tempo. Thanks for the inspiration.
Liked the course. Did they have senior tees as I did not see other tee markers? I have played Bermuda grass for most of the 60 years I have been playing golf. Some courses have Bent grass greens but almost all have some type of Bermuda in the fairways. The toughest Bermuda is common as it has lots of thick runners. If you think Bermuda is different wait until you play a course with St. Augustine grass in the fairway.
Hi Matt, I enjoyed watching and learning especially the short game while you play at a nice course. I wished this YT platform were made available 25 years ago when I was playing "army golf" at an air force golf course in the Philippines. You may still be in your teens then. He he. Please keep this course vlog coming Cheers! - Medal.
Really enjoy your golf vlogs! Keep it up Matt! Do you play with strangers that they pair you up with? If so, what do people think of your video set up? Do you find you can play just as fast with the video set up? I respect the work it takes to record these.
I used to live north of Atlanta. U should try Echelon golf course, chestatee golf course, and woodmont golf and cc. Those where my favorites in the area. Hope to see you play at on in the future.
Awesome course brother. You’re playing all around me right now. Get a chance hit up old toccoa or even over to Adairsville and try the Barnsley gardens.
You do know about the "dead edge" on Bermuda greens, right? Look at the hole and you'll see part of the edge looks kinda rough/dead. Around the hole the grain grows TOWARDS this dead edge. As ball dies around the cup it will break towards that direction. If you play early you may not see it for a couple of hours in. Takes a while for that scruffy edge to appear.
Great playing Matt! Funny you mentioned playing well on the last few holes, because yesterday I had a chance to break 80 for the first time, but shot +3 on the last 2 holes to shoot 80, which is my lowest score to date. Need to make wiser decisions from the tee box.
Hey mr short game I recommend playing the uga course in Athens Georgia it is a great course and it’s only opened on the weekends because of covid but you should definitely try to play there.
Matt, noticed the volume is a little lower since you moved east compared to your west coat video, something change? Nice course vlog, nice course, very good play. Was expecting an in depth explanation on Bermuda per the video title.
What's with the big fans on the course? I have never seen that before anywhere until seeing these videos in Georgia. Is it for a cooling effect or to dry the dew off the greens in the morning or what?
Wow. A 72. That is awesome, great round! I hope to hit a 72 one day. Mr short game, have you been playing since you were a kid? I'm wondering if there is a ceiling that is very hard to surpass unless you grew up playing this game... If you learned in adulthood however, it would give me hope. I would love to shoot par one day.
Matt the game looks good, who needs warm before a round!! How are you liking the GA courses compared to the CA courses so far? May you hit nothing but fairways and greens, be safe.
Bird on 17. Wow! You are playing courses that I have been on before so I am really enjoying your vlogs. How was Stonebridge? I haven't played there in a while.
Check out Woodmont country club in canton ;) And you should check out Heritage Golf Links in Tucker, it has awesome practice facility, course is so so ha
Tallest flagstick I’ve seen/played. 2018 in Greece on the island of Crete. 2nd hole, all uphill and that flagstick was at least 20 feet tall. Only way you can see it from the tee box or even the fairway as it’s steep.
You’ll have to add “Fan Guy” to your next list of golf course personalities.... “did you see that!!!! The FAN... THE FAN pushed my put!!! Aargh - those fans...”
Have played it many times (my course is only about 5-10 miles from there). Usually in great condition. Greens are great looking, but that Bermuda is never easy to read. Can even break differently depending on the time of day. Good playing though.
I love these course Vlogs Matt! It’s awesome to watch a great golfer manage different courses. Thanks!
agreed

Bring these back Matt. Keep it simple just like this. I love it.
Love your course vlog style, Matt. Score and hole overlays are great. Keep them coming!
Enjoying watching you play. I particularly enjoy hearing you manage the course and your shot selection.
Nice round - looking forward to more!!!
It's great to follow you around the course with commentary, almost feels like I was there. Thanks.
Love this type of course blog. Liking the commentating and its quick and to the point. Keep it up!!!!
Really like these course vlogs! great job! especially with the drone footage.
Mr. Short Game struggles in new course

😂😂😂
There will be light at the end of the fairway
Love these vlogs
Do more in the future
Bermuda greens: shiny is with the grain, dull or darker is against the grain. Ball will NEVER break into the grain. (no charge for this tip 🙂)
I'm really enjoying these course vlogs Matt!! Keep them coming.
Appreciate your content Matt.

Loved this full round coverage. I love you tip videos but was great to watch you play a full round. Keep’em coming!
Full course vlogs are the best !
It was simply a pleasure to watch.
Love the new course vlogs a great watch every time
Such a relaxing watch

Wow, that was awesome great round brother, can't wait to see another one of these new course's!
Great vids Matt - really helpful to see how a good golfer navigates his way around the course. My brother used to live in the house on the right of the 18th green - that's not an easy course!
i like these course vlogs. I hope that there will be more to come
That was fun to watch Matt. Thanks!
Just awesome watching these rounds!
Hey i love the vids. You're awesome and funny. Thanks for the vids and have a great day!
Awesome round love watching dude
Good video Matt. Amazing how different grasses affect our game! Really earned your name today!
Great vlog! Becoming a big fan of this channel.
Great Vlog Matt !! Keep up the great work !
That fan 100% pushed the ball left. I like your course blogs. They are well cut and you can still feel your personality like in your other videos.
Awesome course vlogs! Intros are amazing
Great one. I was paying careful attention to your tempo especially when you said you were trying different shots. Great for me to have that picture in my head of how it should be done, as I try improve my own tempo. Thanks for the inspiration.
Watched the entire video on the way to work. Can’t play golf today but at least I can watch a great round. Nice chip-in!
Liked the course. Did they have senior tees as I did not see other tee markers? I have played Bermuda grass for most of the 60 years I have been playing golf. Love to hear you talk approach throughout the round, I struggle big time with those decisions/ego and usually costs me 4-5 strokes. Ty
Well done Matt!
Nice round! Practice into the new net says it all! I like the format too
Dog poops in the background of your tee shot 8:37 🐶💩 nice course vlog, I enjoy these videos

This may be my favorite MSG vid.
Nice round of golf.
Really enjoy your golf vlogs! Keep it up Matt!
Do you play with strangers that they pair you up with? If so, what do people think of your video set up?

Game looks good MSG!
I used to live north of Atlanta. U should try Echelon golf course, chestatee golf course, and woodmont golf and cc. Those where my favorites in the area. Hope to see you play at on in the future.

Crazy you played here. This was my home course in high school.
Nice round Matt!
LOVE CRABAPPLE COURSE LOVED GOLFOHOLICS VLOG WHEN THEY WENT THERE
Great content as usual!
Haha wow. I live in GA and have played here. Great course!
Good video, Great playing!!
Very cool little course, if you ever find yourself in North Texas holler!
Nice round Matt! Looks like you are starting to get used to the BERMUDA here in the south.

This was great thanks!
I agree about the fan on the second hole!! Nice round sure if you played it more you could go lower!!
Great playing Matt! Funny you mentioned playing well on the last few holes, because yesterday I had a chance to break 80 for the first time, but shot +3 on the last 2 holes to shoot 80, which is my lowest score to date. Need to make wiser decisions from the tee box.
Nice round Matt. Fans are nice but you got screwed on that one. You make the game look so easy. Be safe!
You have changed my short game... Thanks a million
I played this course last year. Fun to see you in the local area. Come play Bear's Best soon.
No ngat fans! Love it
How did a fan get on the course? Fans aren’t allowed during the pandemic. 🤔
I see what ya did there!
2160p 4k?!?! your video quality is just so nice to watch from the actual quality to the editing and voice over
GA has some of the best courses. Lived there for 4 years.
Got to love the chip in
Great vids Matt....I think the mutt in the background on your tee shot from the 7th is your harshest critic yet though! 🤣
Any follow-up on the Edison wedges? It looks like you went back to the Vokey's...
Matt - Make sure you hop over to Alabama and play the Robert T. Jones Golf Trail courses. They are magnificent.
These vids make me want to move to Georgia. 😎
Hey mr short game I recommend playing the uga course in Athens Georgia it is a great course and it’s only opened on the weekends because of covid but you should definitely try to play there.
Good game, ⛳🏌️♂️🏌️🏌️♀️
Thanks for the video Matt. Why didn’t you use your T-200’s on this course? Saw the video where you built your bag with a callaway and Titleist combo.
Matt, any plans to play courses in Cumming or Alpharetta? There are quite a few Club Corp. places down here.
The dog taking a crap behind you in 7…
😂
Matt, noticed the volume is a little lower since you moved east compared to your west coat video, something change? Nice course vlog, nice course, very good play. Was expecting an in depth explanation on Bermuda per the video title.
Love the vlog and the course. Are there a lot of Bermuda grass layouts?
Great content. Top quality video - golf not too bad either:)
What's with the big fans on the course? I have never seen that before anywhere until seeing these videos in Georgia. Is it for a cooling effect or to dry the dew off the greens in the morning or what?
Welcome to N Ga. You're not sweating. How the heck did you pull that off? Been here for 35 years and I look like I got out of a pool this time of year
You should play the par 3 course at traditions
You should play Royal Lakes in GA, tuff course
Wow.
What putter were you using in this vid?? Looks nice
#1 fan lol
Do you try to keep the bottom of the irons completely square on long to mid iron shots or do you prefer slightly open or closed?
Matt the game looks good, who needs warm before a round!! How are you liking the GA courses compared to the CA courses so far? May you hit nothing but fairways and greens, be safe.
Why do they even use these fans in Georgia? I assume the heat - but does it really make that much of a difference to have them at the putting greens?
Bird on 17. Wow! You are playing courses that I have been on before so I am really enjoying your vlogs. How was Stonebridge? I haven't played there in a while.

Good lord I'd be ripped to shreds by my partners if I said the fan blew my putt off line
Have you hit some good southern Bermuda rough yet? 2.5 inches can be tough if well watered!
way to grind, very nice
Excellent video! Do you walk or take a cart when you play?
Have played it many times (my course is only about 5-10 miles from there). Usually in great condition. Greens are great looking, but that Bermuda is never easy to read. Can even break differently depending on the time of day. Good playing though.
Ok nice this is good since I just found out the course near me is Bermuda grass
