assalamu alaikum I am from Germany and me and my friend are working on a school project about Nigeria. We are supposed to create a podcast episode about the Boko Haram. So far I have not done a lot of research but I know that Boko Haram is an islamist terrorist organisation. Me and my friend are Muslims ourselves so it is important to us to represent Islam correctly and that when we talk about such a sensitive topic like the Boko Haram we want to make sure to separate terrorist actions from this peaceful religion. That is why I wanted to ask If you may give a different perspective about Islam as a Nigerian Muslim representative so we could include this in our podcast. You could give us a little statement we could read out loud in our podcast or maybe an audio, that we can edit in the podcast. This won’t be uploaded online but is simply for a school project. Our goal is to change the bad image Islam has and educate that terrorist actions are not part of this beautiful religion.
