Khmer1Jivit is the original King of Khmer hiphop. He left Cambodia when he was 15 years old to live in Dallas Texas. He discovered hiphop through his Texas high school and then got more inspired by a fellow Khmerican rapper Khmerkid and started doing his own shxt. the Khmer hip hop scene started heating up in 2005 with the first HipHop Label KLAPYAHANDZ . Khmerkid teamed up with Cambodian rapper Lisha to do LOT DOCH BESDONG and it kind of exploded from there . 2010 All Stars ( pkay ler mak)- KhmerKid Ft. Lisha, Khmer1jivit was released in Cambodia with such a filthy old school beat. Khmer1Jivit released BreakThrough Mixtape and was easily recognised as the best Khmer rapper bringing a lot of interest from Locals and EXPats alike. RhyMeMotion released in 2014. VannDa once said that RhyMeMotion and $kull were the best two Khmer HipHop Albums ever made. 2014 is also the year a Young rapper arrived on the scene with his cell phone he made his song Live Fast Die Young and showed off his speed rap ability. he showed a lot of promise and as he could see it he was destined to be the king one day. His Names he goes by Devith, G Devith Ditway. Anyway I'll cut it short now. G Devith engaged with Khmer1Jivit in a series of disses and then continued the CLOUT CHASING by provoking VANNDA. G Devith's music suffers when he obsesses too much about what the other two are doing instead of what he is doing. VannDa - J+O (Remix) ft. Reezy & Khmer1jivit [Lyrics video] is also a G Devith diss. But thankfully G Devith is starting to just concentrate on his stuff and he is giving back to the HipHop Community by working with young khmer hiphop collectives like ABOVE50K and 20"OutNOW. KHMER!JIVIT is now back in Cambodia at the moment to coach a group of rappers for the TV Show - THE RAPPER CAMBODIA
