Mancera Aoud Violet is a fragrance I fell in love with and wear just for myself but it has garnered many a compliments for me.

I'm not a big oud fan but Aoud Lemon Mint is one of the handful of scents with out that I do enjoy. Very fresh, specially in the opening
I've recently had the opportunity to smell quite a few niche fragrances. The Harmonist Magnetic Wood is INCREDIBLE and I didn't need compliments, I knew I smelled amazing. I need to get a full bottle soon. I also got to try Aventus and honestly, the clones I've smelled/own don't do the original justice. Aventus is incredible. Got to smell Green Irish tweed didn't do it for me. It smells nice but not my vibe. I haven't had the opportunity to smell anything from the other houses you mention but I hope to one day.
Parfums de marly- Carleslie and atkinsons - The other side of Oud. Everytime i spray one of this two i get Tons and tons of compliments. Out of my over 200 Scents, this two are far more ahead reaction wise.
Legend Spirit. No question. Don't particularly like it, don't particularly like MYSELF wearing it, but I have to give it props for drawing attention. Summer through winter. For a teenage guy, I would consider it a wardrobe staple.
Roja parfums Elysium gets me most positive compliments then entitling else. Very nice list and review as always.
Hi Ashton, I would add Oajan for fall and winter and Foconero for spring and summer. Oajan is just a better, rounder version of Ambre Narguille (which I used to have before it was released). Foconero is a nice niche take on Fierce (like no other). I also get compliments with L'Humaniste and Figuier Eden in the summer. All of the above are my favorites and I would wear them compliments or not :)
PS If not 540, I would put Petit Matin before Masculin Pluriel, as well as Enchanted Forest before Bleecker Street. But that's me :)

The one I wear to impress is xerjoff accento. It is very rare that i do, but when i do it sure does get attention!
Even when I wear blue fragrances, I don't wear for the people around me, but for myself... That being said, Or Intemporel by Lalique got me compliments every time I wore it (I wear it only dressed up)
Memo Paris is so underrated. I feel like nobody talks about their fragrances. Super high quality imo.

I wore PDM Herod to work last Friday, and my cowroker complimented me how great I smell. She even commented that she can smell me “even through the face mask.”
Mine is mancera cedrat boise, I personally don't like it much, but people around me, especially ladies love it...
Tom Ford oud wood is one I hated on tester but loved it when a friend wore it & it smelled amazing . Had to get it myself
Put it in an atomizer and spray every 2 hours
PdM Herod is probably my go to, though thats equally for me as much as the girls in my friend circle. Easily the most popular of my collection with them.
I have worn Adventus and several copies of it and have never received a compliment, however almost everytime I wear Oud Ispahan I recieved compliments.
Roma Acqua Viva, MFK Aqua Universalis, Creed EROLFA work as well in the GA winter weather
Still Life in Rio - Olfactive Studio, is my go to summer niche "show off", not really office friendly but just throws you back to hot summer nights ;-) And I agree African Leather is amazing for fall!

I own around 30 fragrances but these are the ones that garnered me compliments.
PDM Layton has one of best opening in perfume industry but the dry down is polarizing.
I prefer PDM Layton Exclusif which has same opening with intoxicating, not very animalic dry down
Out of all I get compliments every time I wear Platinum Egoiste but I like to layer it with something not to contrasting. Thanks for your list.

Great list! My most complimented niche is Creed Viking. My most complimented fragrance over all is DHI.

@@csvfsev1450 and it has a lot fewer wearings than some of my personal favorites. But then again I have a couple of regular compliment givers who both gave Roja's Elysium Parfum Cologne a "meh it's okay." A lot has to do with skin chemistry and the personal tastes of those around you and mine seem to lean towards liking the thicker heavier scents.
Do you recommend Viking for a 28 year old living in Dubai ? (Hot weather)
@@AlexanderGeorge not if you will spend most of the time in the heat of the daytime, but if it cools in the evening then I would recommend wearing it. (I had a blind date one evening in August in Southern California...daytime was about 30 degrees C but the evening cooled to about 22 C. She loved it).

Carlisle is a beast also for compliments. If you wear it with a leather jacket in winter it’s perfect .

I still own Pegasus, but don’t enjoy it. So I’m just hanging onto it because it’s one of those bangers that everyone hypes. I’m hoping I get it to grow on me.

Green Irish Tweed is my signature fragrance...love love love it. The one I wear for compliments are myself is Tom Ford Tobacco Vannille. For all the Niche snobs that say it's not "niche" I don't care 🤷♂️

Yeah it’s not wowing. Fresh pines / Vicks vapor with a pinch of vanilla
LeLabo another 13 for me. It's overpriced for what it is and it doesn't wow me but everytime I wear it a woman asks me what I'm wearing. I've gotten stopped in the supermarket, by receptionist when I walk into a office and the list goes on.

...it's not hideous actually, pretty meh and boring. Rein Intense Incense, on the other hand, from the same house, will get you kicked out of places.
Has anyone heard of 'Etourdi' from the house of Joliot Descartes? I purchased this niche (?) fragrance is a retail outlet in the greater Toronto area in Canada and I find it to be amazing - very similar to Dior Sauvage. Excellent in many ways. I can't seem to find it on the usual discounter websites and have found very little about on it online.

My first niche fragrance is either gonna be Lost Cherry by Tom Ford or Layton, impossible to not love these I tell you.

See...I hear SO many different reviews from folks on Red Tobac. I'm just gonna grab a decant. Been wanting to try it for so long. I just keep hearing how much of a "chemical mess" it is. I'm truly not a fan of oud at all, so there's that.
João Carneiro try Red Tobacco it’s different than the TF. I would say it’s more ashy 🤷♂️ to my nose it’s a more ashy tobacco but it’s a powerhouse fragrance Red Tobacco beast freaking mode. PDM Herod is in my opinion a more mass appealing version of Red Tobacco so try those 2 Red Tobacco and Herod.

Hey what do you think about (oil perfumery) i have seen them on my ads pop up in my TH-cam and I took a look at it and it seems interesting I thought it was just put it in a sample size but it is really made from oil and there copying the smell any thought about it ?

I have both, but I wear jubilation only formally. Layton is way more versatile and compliment pulling.
Its Autumn almost Winter and cold so most of your list would not suit, so I'll go for Killian Black Phantom, Ani Nishane, Initio Side effect, Carlise and Herod PDM, 34 Boulevard St Germain EDP Diptyque, Musc Ravageur Frederic Malle and Amouage Overture Man.

Never got a compliment with my Layton :( but I like it a lot. My compliment top1 would be Fahrenheit Le parfum. It's not versatile IMO so I use it not very often but always someone tell me something.
